Re: Battlegrounds Scoring is Completely Broken - Time Should NOT Outweigh HP!
You beat him by 1% health; he beat you by over 3% time. Seems right to me.
Re: My issue with Adaptive difficulty
I don’t mean to imply what I point out is the only problem, or that addressing it will be enough. My main reason for posting was that Kabam has already announced they will be taking feedback into consideration and making tweaks and adjustments. However, the one problem tweaks and adjustments can’t address is this one: the one where whomever they target with those changes, only a few of us will actually be in that target. Either most of us will be bored because it will be too easy, which will defeat much of the purpose, or a lot of us will be shut out because it will be too difficult, which will be potentially game-threatening.

Re: CHAMPION PRESTIGE IS A BLACK BOX OPERATION
prestige has always been a BS stat. The purpose of prestige is to get players to acquire and/or rankup champs you may not want to play. Prestige adds zero to the playing experience and that is what Kabam doesn't understand.
Kabam highlights that the difference between champions prestige is way smaller than the difference between R1 20 sig champ and R3 200 Sig champ. However, the problems still arises are…
1/quests themselves are designed for players with large and diverse rosters. Players are already motivated to rankup champs to make the competition of content quicker and easier.
2/when do newer players prestige catchup to top prestige players, since top prestige players get more rewards?
3/what is the exact formula that determines prestige? Should I rankup, awaken, or put sig stones into certain players to maximize my prestige?
Re: CHAMPION PRESTIGE IS A BLACK BOX OPERATION
I completely agree that keeping prestige such a central stat but at the same time treating it like a “black box” only creates frustration and confusion. Transparency should be the minimum standard, if players are meant to chase prestige, then at least show us exactly how it’s calculated, what values each champ brings, and how it impacts progression. Right now, it feels less like strategy and more like gambling.
I also would like to suggest to replace prestige with a skill-based progression path. A scalable challenge where players push as far as they can, and their maximum EQ level is based on that performance, would reward actual gameplay and not just wallets. Being able to step back and experiment would also encourage to play more instead of forcing people into a single meta.
Even if it’s not simple to implement, this kind of adaptive system would feel fairer and more rewarding. At the end of the day, players want to feel that their effort, knowledge, and skill matter as much as, if not more than, their credit card.
