Re: Criticisms of Adaptive Difficulty EQ
They are slowly taking out all the "fun" parts of the game. It really feels unplayable now.
Re: Criticisms of Adaptive Difficulty EQ
I like that the one mistake KO fights are back again, we were al waiting for that.
Casual 27k attack rating in EQ is tight.

Re: Since nobody is moderating forums...
I don't want to be an excessively negative commenter so I've largely refrained commenting on this. I'm usually the one joking around, but let me be serious for a second since we're on the topic and they don't seem to care about it anyway:
I feel like the forum redesign perfectly sums up the new direction Kabam are taking with this game, and its the reason why many, including me, feel alienated by recent decisions and feel disconnected from the community of days past. The new forum is like a unilateral announcement page (if they even announce it here), it allows no reactions to new Kabam announcements, and voicing opinions will be done through our own discussions, which quickly get drowned out by other discussions.
Not a personal dig, but Mike and Dork haven't been convincing and in tune with the general community at large. Mike does seem to communicate more with the ccp and other content creators (as a former content creator himself, I guess that tracks). But all I've seen from him here is the occasional snark and the rare explanation/ addressing issues.
Content creators seem to be getting more benefits: They get access to a more direct line of communication to Kabam, the new CCP code revenue, general youtube revenue, the beta testing grounds map for practicing, access to new champs and rank ups, the new prestige system which rewards higher spenders, more sales, and the list goes on.
It's looking like Kabam know the game isn't attracting and retaining as many newer players, so they've pivoted to trying to please and milk the remaining contingent of content creators and whales that make them the most money. From a business point of view, it might be the best direction for them. But as a player not part of that circle, I am getting brushed off. If it were not for the friends I have in-game who I talk to everyday and play with, I'd have quit already.

Re: Since nobody is moderating forums...
Just to share information and "insight" from a guardian and a discord mod. Wanted to let people know since the complaint that forums were neglected has been ongoing for a while. Felt like this could answer some questions in mind. You might as well ignore it if it bothers you, I don't feel like fighting anyone anymore.

Re: Since nobody is moderating forums...
But we simply didn't even get a livestream alert post for september on forums, how does one explain such a simple thing missing for example? That has nothing to do with moderating the forums even, its pure ignorance and neglect.

Re: Are they conducting an experiment to find the last straw for the players?
They took the trial runs of Valiant EQ and went with something that’s totally bizarre and way out in left field.
Typical kabam moves,…completely out of touch.
Re: VALIANT EVENT QUEST - CHECK IN!
Hard pass. I am Valiant but sunsetting and prefer the stress free of the old EQ. I'd auto fight, collect units, and the new champs. I don't want something to test my skills after reading 20 different node effects, restricting my champ selections and relics. Some of us just want the game, not the hassle. MCOC is my escape; I don't want another job.

Are they conducting an experiment to find the last straw for the players?
So I started playing 4-5 months back on a new account. During these months I have noticed a pattern.
In each update there is a massive L for the players.
From what I can remember, the major F-ups were:
1. Selling Dark pheonix at an absurd price (was it $1000?)
2. Selling Human Torch
3. Wrongfully banning normal players (ik that they were compensated but the stress was real)
4. The Bugged Contest of Champions. In each update there is a huge flow of bugs. Some champs are broken. Misconnections etc. You get what I am saying, it is a broken game.
5. And now this eq ****.
Are they trying to get players to quit? What is their strategy here?
Anyway thanks to them I have started taking this game as a game and not as a chore. I would probably never be spending on this game or consuming any content regarding it (no YT videos). Well I think most players are trapped into this game as they have invested way too much to quit easily(time and money). It would be interesting to see how much longer can kabam pull this off and how much longer will the player realise that it just a gambling app which plays on your fomo.
No more EQs for me.

Re: What’s your new hobby going to be?
I just bought the Rivendell set on Tuesday. 6000+ pieces should keep me busy until this blows over ☺️
