Theres no possible way i could've done anything though. I literally don’t text in my alliance, dont text anything anywhere. My user is “TheyLoveJosh”, (nothing wrong w that but clearly they do NOT love me😭). I cant cheat bc im on ios. So im just confused on what happened

So, I just finished EQ, classic and elder…I can transparently say it is by far the worst piece of content I've played here in a long time. I don't mind end game modes like Crucible, WoF and Necro but this is EQ, I went through all my revives and health, spent about 800 units and the rewards were lackluster. And I'm not a bad player…

Should I have done it? No…probably should have stopped after I finished classic but didn't, I wanted to push through and mentally got caught up.

Opinion, don't do it, EQ was never meant to be "end game", its where we practice and play, spend some time and learn. The rewards are not worth the cost running this, and if you are in the mid to upper 20ks in prestige, its way worse.

Do I regret finishing? Yes…I don't care about the money grab, people who spend will spend, people who don't won't. But the damage is done as far as I'm concerned…

CCP, there were so many that I followed and 70% are now dead to me, that 70%, that have been bought, want to talk about how great the mode is, how great the rewards are…all BS, I get that they want to make money, I never knock a man's hustle but your followers come to you for guidence…think about that for a minute. I'm down to two, who have consistently called it out as is.

Problems:
Adaptive Prestige while a great idea very poorly executed
Over tuned defenders
Overloaded nodes
Classic completion to Elder requirement
Weak rewards

yes for the first time in 6-7 years I will not clear EQ. Call me weird but EQ is my favorite way to causally play the game each month. The first week of new updates is the best day of the month for me in MCOC. I never post on forums - it takes a lot for me to get annoyed with Kabam. But destroying EQ was too far. There’s no way that the majority of the Kabam team who play the game thought this was a good idea. I have no clue how it got greenlighted. There’s no way people thought Prestige change plus the worst EQ update ever would be good. I’m baffled. One month till it’s playable is ridiculous. I’m bummed and that takes a lot here.

Not sure how many realities Dr Strange would have to explore to find that scenario.

I’m definitely skipping this. If they make it permanent, I’m done with this game.

Yeah, they've essentially never updated the EQ nodes since 2020. Tech champions especially never seem to benefit from the nodes, whether it be heal block (not a lot of new Tech champions have that) or the Armor buff power drain. Even the Science nodes aren't beneficial since the small list of debuffs that qualify aren't really debuffs that newer Science champions place.

I did one completion of Classic just to see what Elder was like, and yup, it feels a lot harder than prior month's EQ (and harder than Wheel of Fate) with the same/worse rewards as prior months.

Gonna skip on Elder, and will probably not even explore Classic either.

Kabam missed such a great opportunity to make EQ feel fun with this new format. Make the requirements to get the furies easier, furies much larger, and let us use our favorite non-meta champs of each class to put up huge numbers without too much trouble. Instead we’re forced to use lower ranked champs that fit the nodes, and spending minutes on every fight while being penalised for every lost %.

Add incursions style heal ups every 5 or so fights. Change the nodes (get RID of Biohazard-90% reduced bleed NONSENSE) to be easier and let us use almost anyone in the class, and boost the furies 2-3x so the fights are shorter and we can just enjoy massive damage numbers. Done.
