Re: Im not one to usually make these kinds of posts.
You completely missed the point. Harder quests and fights are one thing. Having nothing but those kinds of fights for what is supposed to be quick and frankly easy monthly content is another.
Re: Im not one to usually make these kinds of posts.
Wow,… another strike (been a bad month for the game team).
i don’t understand how Kabam seems to think people want to put that much time reading into so many nodes for side quest (yet another casual game mode).
High health pools / restrictive,..and not anywhere in the realm of fun,…hmmm 🤔
I’m really starting to question (in my own mind),..if this company actually does want to push long time players out of the game.
Truly such a weird time for mcoc.
Re: Im not one to usually make these kinds of posts.
To get the full rewards you have to do the SQ 4 times which isn't a new thing.
That said, if the fights are going to be more challenging, or if they are going to be the exact same fights/path, it is extremely boring and tedious to have to do it 4 times.
A boss rush style should be 1 and done for all the rewards.
Re: Act 9.3
9.3 was the first Beta in a long time that I didn’t either fully complete or do most of. I did all of 9.3.1 and one path of 9.3.2 and then just decided it wasn’t fun and didn’t do the rest. I did provide that feedback to Kabam as part of the Beta so sorry to hear it sounds like they may not have corrected it.
Re: Act 9.3
I’m not trying to be super inflammatory, but you’re saying the problem with this content is that you have to use “niche characters” in order to complete the paths. And you also say that you only rank for BGs. If that’s the case, then I think you need to rank up other champs if you want an easier time in story. This is not an issue with the quest, it’s an issue with your rank ups.
Also, the idea of it being niche champs being the only way to get through these paths is just false. Sentinel is a common BGs champ, that absolutely melts that tech path. Nefaria, while not the best BGs champ, is one I see often in decks. He can do that path. Viv vision, a champ I saw a ton in BGs recently (I play in the quantum/mysterium range btw) annihilates that path. Red skull, as previously discussed works too. I could continue.
Could the fights be more engaging? Sure. But I highly disagree that this content is restrictive anywhere close to the WoF level
Re: Act 9.3
Some people didn't get the point of my post it seems. I never claimed it's hard, and when I say restrictive I mean you're basically forced to use niche options you probably haven't even ranked up because they're irrelevant most of the time, the same as WoF. So yes I'm aware there are counters, but a lot of them are niche and personally I hate that.
Re: Act 9.3
How many tech champs with decent enough damage for hps that big have heal block? You wanna sit there and use Vision and Deathstrike? Like I said I don't enjoy sitting there for three minutes or using the same champ (I know you're going to say Red Skull) for a whole path it's boring.
Re: Is Zola comp enough
It's enough. There was never any guarantee of pulling him. Much less multiple times.
Re: Im not one to usually make these kinds of posts.
I 100% support adaptive EQ (as long as they add the option for us to choose how hard we want the quest to be) since there are people with different skill level within the same progression title and if done right adaptive EQ could be great to bridge that gap. But this side quest is complete nonsense. Team who designed, tested and released it should be fired immediately. (As a thronebreaker) I used to be able to complete level 5 with some revives (average player) but I can't even complete level 4 on this event after 10 revives.
Re: Is Zola comp enough
The compensation is enough. The only thing I don’t necessarily agree with is to extend the courtesy to everyone opening a crystal after the issue has been resolved for about a week.
