That’s funny because if that’s the case with mcoc, this game is no longer for me. I’ll just go play with my steam deck and entitle myself hard with my AAA, AA and indie games library that cost less than half a monthly sale.

The mandatory relics is my favorite. It brings me back to the time where Kabam was super clear that they would never require relics for content. And technically it still doesn't. You can choose between a relic or some revives, so you've got some freedom there.

But also they clearly want to require relics for content and have made a habit of that since they introduced the dumb 90% power reduction node as well as Cerestes. Won't be much longer until we get a node that reduces damage by 100% unless a relic is equipped.

BGs are going to die fast and hard. Nobody is going to start buying energy refills, since that s what they try to make players do, buy. Everything.

I woke up on my day off this morning & it’s my 1st day of the week to myself. So I turn Mcoc and complete my last bit of war that I’m assigned to and then run through day 6 of the supply run. It was my intention to run another path in act 9.3 but guess what I only have 11 energy left. So what do I do now? I want to play my favourite game that I have literally spent thousands of pounds on but I can’t because kabam have stopped giving us energy. So what do I do now as I can’t play the game and no I’m not going to spend units on energy as I have already given this company thousands of pounds. The least they can do for the customer is give them energy. Honestly this is going to be the end of the game for many players as everyone is sick of being treated like this.

I don’t know who to blame, but the game is worse now. I’m fine with change for the better, but the overwhelmingly negative feedback should tell you that’s not what’s happening. I was just thinking about the older stuff - item use, class upgrade, Avengers and Guardians objectives - and fun side quests like Gwenpool goes to the movies, thinking about where the game has gone wrong since.

Sleepwalking through dailies now, and barely doing the minimum for some easy Arenas, questioning if I even want to bother if this continues.

I don’t think Crashed is gonna push it that far… unless he fully crashes out himself. Still, can’t say it’s a 0% chance. And with Netmarble’s track record of showing drop rates higher than what you actually get, wouldn’t be shocking if the next ‘genius move’ is nerfing arena crystals.
