Re: onslaught change
if it’s bad news that isn’t pro player… count on Kabam to utterly fail on communication. Just inexcusable. Looks like it was intended to not be found by the player base for quite some time ….

If only the zeal to fix dropped inputs and AI were this strong…

Re: onslaught change
Onslaught has been active in the battle realm for more than two years. They can still find some way to “re-balance” him. Now maybe no champion is safe anymore especially 2024-2025 champions, except Dark Phoenix :(
For Hulkling and Valk, the community found the difference in damage and pointed it out, or they would never shine again due to kind of “unknown” change. Next time we may be not so lucky as this time since we cannot guarantee that we are able to compare and point out every difference consisting of different mechanics.
Re: onslaught change
Oh look another batch of older chars are suddenly "unintentionally" nerfed. First hulkling now onslaught. Who's next in the line? Hulking is still not fixed btw
Re: This stupid Coliseum situation
I love it also that AI knows that stun immune is up and hits a fat 5 hit combo into your block because you are in a desperate need to get a heavy off for the tokens

Re: onslaught change
I think it’s time for the community to finally open our eyes and stop belbelieving the blind lies from Kabam when they say they are changing their processes and that they listen to us. Maybe, good time for another boycott or simply switching our place of interest to another game or whatever.
It’s been years that Kabam uses this approach: in order to fix something they break something, and mostly it is about fixing something small and breaking something big.
Why, just why, fix for two champions had to break 5 other champions?
Remember how Kabam fixed Silk lock? They literally buried Titania alive and nobody is using her now.
I am pretty sure there is a bunch of other examples of such inappropriate and dirty solutions they apply.
Just remember my words, someday one change like that will cost you everything. There will be the last thing that will break patience of all players. You will be like Thanos & infinity stones, with your another **** change. What did it cost? What will it cost? And you all know the answer to this.
Screw you, Kabam.
P.S. remember your perfect fix for 7* pool update issue. Nothing changes. Today, 3 months ago, 9 months ago, 2 years ago. You always apply the same strategy: fix less, break more, insist that it was bugged before and that you only see the right way.
Re: onslaught change
Also, EVERY multiplier in game has always been additive like that. For instance 100% bleed resistance champions can still take damage from bleeds. The bleed resistance doesn’t apply AFTER the damage increase to the attacker it applies BEFORE. For instance Okoye gets +60% potency to her bleeds when she hits a certain combo meter. So champs like sinister take 60% of her normal bleed damage. She’s at 160% of her base damage and sinister’s 100% reduction doesn’t remove 100% of that. It removes 100% of her base damage and leaves the 60% bonus damage. Also, the power shield node gives 300% attack damage during specials, so DPX can kill sinister with a single sp1 in this meta because he still takes 200% of dpx’s normal bleed damage. This is how ALL forms of damage increases and reductions have worked literally since the beginning of the game, but now we’re supposed to believe that’s not how it’s supposed to work? Utter garbage they’re trying to feed us because they think we’re stupid. I’ve been playing this game for 11 years and this has always been the standard. Except suddenly now protection completely bypasses this system and just straight up ignores all damage modifications, and with not even a hint of warning. They are setting a precedence of Kabam changing key components of the base game in the middle of multiple competitive season events (war, bgs, alliance coliseum) with no warning. Thats lowkey unacceptable. Either kabam’s official position is that the specifically stated way in which the game has functioned literally since its inception has been totally and completely wrong and unintended for over a decade and they haven’t deigned to fix any of it, or they are just changing this because they feel like it and think it’s better so they throw a surprise game altering change with no warning, community testing or consultation and without even going through their own official channels of monthly updates, and then hiding it from the patch notes to hope nobody will notice. One of those options paints a picture of sheer incompetence the likes of which I have rarely seen in a professional setting, and the other demonstrates contempt and dismissal to the fans and players that pay to keep them in business. Not a good look Kabam.
Re: This stupid Coliseum situation
I don't have an issue with the defenders or the nodes, but AI in these fights is so passive and sneaky and reacts in such faster frame rates that yes, it's not much fun to play.
But I'm starting to realize that "fun" may not be the experience Kabam intends the players to have; maybe frustration and addiction and ragebait are intentional, I don't know….
Re: This stupid Coliseum situation
Arcade AI is silly. Crossbones sp lock is silly. They just had to find a way to make the player face an sp2 didn't they
