previously daunted could go through protection, it would work as such, protection potency - daunted potency during specials, it was an additive equation, whereas now the protection is a net thing, so +100% damage taken from daunted is just multiplied by 0, making you do no damage through protection. Sorry if that’s explained poorly, TLDR is daunted used to work through protection, and now it doesn’t.

I don't think people are generally upset because they think daunted should work a certain way. I think they're upset about the way stuff is changed and communicated by Kabam. Not to get too psychoanalytical, but "trust issues" is the problem for them mostly. And I'm not going to pour kerosene on a raging fire by dissecting that….

This is gold right here. DLL literally explained how it's supposed to work. He wouldn't have said that if it was a bug or something that they saw as an issue at the time.

That is exactly my point. If daunted, which increases damage can't bypass 100% protection (damage reduction), why does bleed potency increase like with chee'ilth and okoye bypass 100% bleed resistance (bleed reduction).
