So I guess “ORANGE is the new RED”

Normal Skill Class icon is clear as Red, but how can this (below) for the 2* SQ champ faction (card suit), be called Red in any sense of the word ? (when clearly it is Orange).

Just started, thought there was gonna be more thought involved before starting to play this. Nope, just normal (*) poker hands. (* with addition of “Semi-Flush” and “Semi-Straight” hands)

Anyways, first few fights I was looking for a Red suit champ because of defender NODE screens (not shown here) saying certain Suits like RED will reward bonus Attack, but wasn’t seeing any Red suits in my hand to use.
Then went to use Hyperion instead, and see that somehow Orange is really Red (??)

Rintrah, Spider Man, and Falcon are all worse than red hulk. At least red hulk has crazy damage and poison immunity.

Rintrah is an amazing duel threat. Saying red hulk is better than him is crazy.

Red Hulk:

1. Doesn't rely on debuffs
2. Doesn't rely on crits
3. XL health pool
4. Double Immunities

Rintrah:

1. Crit reliant
2. No immunities
3. Needs Dupe
4. Relies on debuffs

Rintrah doesn't need his dupe. Him having immunities would be helpful, but I never find myself in a situation when using him where I wish he did. He is not crit reliant. Even with no crits he will deal more damage than red hulk. And yeah he does rely on debuffs (rupture which is not a common immunity). Do you know who else relies on debuffs? A million other amazing champs.

Rintrah does rely on crits. If I wanted a mystic that can stall and keep up on attack I'm picking my dawg Sasquatch. Same HP, Faster Ramp, and he has two chances to crit on his sp2.

I have a 7 star rintrah and a rank 4 ascended six star. Trust me buddy, I would rather pull red hulk than rintrah when I can just use Sasquatch who does everything better.

You're delusional

The only reasoning I can find to this change is the "balance" of the economy with new sources of radiance and the radiance store. In a way it makes sense if you really think about, the only problem is that mysterium comes from a casual game mode, and radiance doesn't.

It's the long con to eliminate the traders outpost. "Buff" it with nothing of value leaving summoners with no hope of a reasonable and actual buff for at least another 18 months, then at the same time reduce available mysterium. Then after awhile, you eliminate the traders outpost because summoners are less engaged with it than before, are less likely to miss it, and are now just more annoyed having another currency to gain that offers nothing of value. So you eliminate it to make summoners happy that it's one less thing they have to waste time and thought on, but you don't put those rewards anywhere else because the players are distracted by the relief of not having to worry about something so underwhelming anymore. And now you've lowered the reward budget so you have more room to slowly increase it later.

I think they've just officially lost any ability to pretend that they know what the players want and make effective, realistic and reasonable changes in that direction.
