Lagacy was definitely tweaking in his video but he did have some good points. Like why is the power budget always spent on these no name characters and the most hyped characters always get some sort of shaft? Makes no sense.

While this post may sound nice, it’s just AI from someone who is playing a different game than I am. Now granted, I’m not saying you need to be valiant to have an opinion, etc. But we are simply not playing the same game. I want to maximize my rewards, and right now, that means trying to push in BGs. (Now I haven’t been able to due to work, but that’s another story).

And the fact of the matter is, the champs I rank up that are great for BGs are often great everywhere. I can use Jean in every game mode, Nico, Solvarch, etc. Champs like Blue Marvel, who I will probably still rank 4 because I like the character is probably not going to see much play.

Ultimately, “BGs brainrot” is not the player’s fault. We play the game mode with the most rewards (radiance), and right now, that’s BGs. Maybe that will change with Coliseum as we continue on, but rn, Kabam has made BGs where we get radiance, even if it’s infuriating at times

Who cares if people want to only rate a champion based on their BG potential. Maybe that’s the only game mode those players care about, who is anyone to tell them otherwise. People are free to play the game how they like as long as it’s within the TOS. Doesn’t in anyway make a difference to anyone else.

Kabam are clearly still designing champions for use outside of BG’s. Players can take it or leave it based on what content they are prioritising at the time.

Where does your educated perspective come from then? Long ramp up content is a no, doubt that a roster with 5" as top PI does well in BGs.
