Re: Stream Recap - August 1, 2025
Ummm.... Kabam folks. Do we really need to keep ballot receipts? Inventory is cluttered with receipts from past votes.
Re: How to Not Lose Points to Modders
If kabam guys happen to watch your fav youtuber, beroman's livestream and encountered a cheater, He would've get banned mid match too.so people should just get a better shot at qualifying for brawl just cause theyre friends with devs who can ban instantly? isnt that the definition of privilege
It's not privilege, it's visibility. Common players can never get this visibility and it's not unfair lol.
If they say there waiting for the whole match and banned him the next day after reaching office that would've recieved even more backslash.
Re: How to Not Lose Points to Modders
Right, but it's one thing for Lags to get account support on the spot, and for regular players to have to submit a ticket and get support the next day. No issue with that.I mean, if you can live stream every match and also happen to have an employee watching, this might happen to you too.I don’t know about the whale immunity rumors, but the Lagacy stream was so weird I almost couldn’t believe it. Mike and Fintech both in the stream, lagacy’s opponent definitely seemed to be modding in round 1, and then they were just shut down before round 2 was even finished. From 400+ to 0 points immediately.I mean, I'm happy this cheater got banned, but he was in Celestial when he faced Lags.
So think about all the players who lost points to him along the way and will never get any redress for it, except for Lags, who gets to just avoid it because his Kabam buddies want to help him.
What happened to the whole "It's a process, use the report button, it has to go through the proper channels, etc."?
The other thing happens otherwise too. It's not only for "big shots", miike, pinwheel , jax and others have personally helped solve account issues of those who post on the forums(regular players. Not even forum regulars) without having to go throught the whole support process.
But the other system exists because they can't personally intervene for every single issue.
But here, he basically gets special protection from losing points to a modder, while other players have to lose points and never get any compensation.
Different things.
And I mean, last season C1 and C2 finished with the same points. So every point matters, whether you're competing for the brawl or trying to push into a higher tier for radiance.

Re: How to Not Lose Points to Modders
The problem is it is clear favoritism. Bero man lost a match two months ago where his opponent got banned during the match. Why did he get a loss and lost like 30 points because his opponent was at 0 but Lagacy got a forfeit and won 2 points? Not to mention the 20-30 players this cheater beat to get to the 400 some odd points the player had at the start of the match. Great that this cheater got banned but the fact a CCP member was saved due to this timely ban where everyone else just gets the loss is not ok.
Re: How to Not Lose Points to Modders
Lemme tell you guys one celestial secret.
The modders at the top gets banned much faster than the rest of our peasant tiers.
Except for that one season when a modder was sitting on c1 for 2-3 days lol.
They have closed groups with members from kabam present. Actions are taken rather swiftly when a modder enters those realms.
So, this is not a uniqe favoritism, this preference is given to all top guys and they earned that by reaching those ranks.
The only modders who survive the bans are the ones who have been modding for few hours, new ones.
You guys are ignorant to the fact that top ~20-30 celestial players constantly are communicating with each other about who is playing, who is streaming, who is queuing and much much more.
Anybody who is saying that a modder needs to be banned swiftly, I suggest you to join those groups, the top cream of the competitive mode.
You can't enter those as you are not in those ranks, as simple as that.
....
This post was made in bad faith. A rather selfish take on the issue.
I too absolutley do not care about lagacy, but that's a personal opinion. He is just a player like us outside that opinion.
In this particular case, lagacy was streaming and he cried for help from kabam people (yes I went and watched the 5 minute of the stream), and luckily they were there. If this perosn was another celestial player, they were watching, the actions would have been the same.
I don't know who has the power to ban these guys.
Fintech is new, so I'll assume he can only report.
Mike is not a technical dev(kinda), but he have more reach in the office.
Nah is an actual Dev, I'll assume he can ban players by himself. No, I don't know how they work.
....
I won't reply to popcorn, as this is not the right thread to talk about how and why these modders are allowed to roam freely. I get what you are saying... but this thread is not the one to discuss that.
....
All in all, things are different for top players. We peasants are not part of it. Thats how the world works. Make peace with it.

There will be two difficulties - Normal and Legendary.
Engaging in the Crucible during the Rebirth Event will also earn you points toward the Crucible Realm Event, where you can earn Rebirth Items geared toward the 6 Rebirth Champions.
Earn points by defeating opponents, using revives, and completing objectives across the latest Crucible challenge. The points given for defeating an opponent increase the further you are in a quest!
