Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
Why there is a rank rewards if you cant farm points?Because points come with spending money on units
I dont understand
Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
There are ranked rewards, which will be unobtainable unless you payI wouldn't call it pay to win. Sure, spending could be a tie breaker for points, but if you don't do everything, especially Raids, no amount of spending is going to catch you up.There are 300,000 total earnable points, so yes you can reach the top milestone, even if you miss a few.Why do you make everything p2w?
Well, technically speaking $24,000 USD might catch you up. But even among the mega whales I suspect the number of people who will actually do that is very close to zero.
Since about a third of the realm points are in Raids, and my alliance doesn't do raids (much less Nightmare Raids which seems to be required to cap out the milestones) I'm basically out of it. But the event is still giving me a ton of rewards for basically just playing the game more or less as I normally do, so I can't be too upset. I find it ... odd that there's so much emphasis on Raids given their presumptive optional nature - and the fact they are tied to alliances, meaning individual players cannot simply choose to do them just for the event - but I suppose Kabam has its reasons there.
I would call that pay to win
Re: Raid comp
They said comp will be out by tomorrow in their latest update.1 hour was equal to 48 human player hours.
Tomorrow could be an eternity 😱
Re: Spider Woman or Silk?
Just say you don’t have spiderwoman if that’s the case 👀🤣...... Man, It's fine to not understand that my take is correct. Lower skilled players find it harder to understand but don't worry you'll get there one day...Spider Woman needs dupe and is trash in BGs. Easiest choice everMan, I guess this is what the forums are now.
Just dumb takes by clueless people who don't know they're clueless...
Re: Summoners Fest points
Points in the unit purchases is fine. Points only in the unit purchases is not fine. For a mode revolving entirely around playing the game, ranked rewards should be competitive through playing the game, not just spending money.
Re: The Huge dependence on raids should have been announced earlier
If somebody is currently in an alliance that doesn’t do raids, they shouldn’t look at any big event and assume they’re going to get all the rewards. While that’s a fair point, when have we had broad events in the past where Raids specifically were an essential requirement for getting rewards?
For the record, I’m not all that sore at not getting points for Raids (we don’t really have the manpower for even a small Raids effort). My main lament is missing out on MODOK, who I assume may be available elsewhere.
My primary beef, however, is the overall poor and scattered communication that seems to have overtaken the team. Players shouldn’t have to cover multiple channels just to figure out what to do in game.

Re: The Huge dependence on raids should have been announced earlier
Raids are 20% of the total available points, so really not almost a third. Alliances that don't do raids don't have to do raids. Kabam doesn't seem to like communicating ahead of time for most things anymore because they know how the community will respond to what they're putting out. Should really make them go back to the drawing board with that stuff, but they just choose to delay the disappointment until the last minute.so because they're afraid of backlash, they just wait until the very last moment so that people who could actually do something about their alliance situation, now can't, and hence ultimately amplify the backlash?
Some big brain strategy they have got
Re: The Huge dependence on raids should have been announced earlier
It's not absolutely essential, though. It is if you want to get to the highest milestones, are people supposed to go spend hundreds on units now because of Kabam's mistakes? Lmfao let's reward Kabam for **** up, your comments really never cease to amaze me GW.
Re: All Bugs/Problems as of Today
I don't know if it is only me but, has anybody start their battleground rank at diamond?Yes, where did you think you were going to start?
Last season I made it into GC but now I'm at diamond?
Is it supposed to happen?
Re: The Huge dependence on raids should have been announced earlier
What the heck do you mean by not all players are supposed to get the rewards ? Mr Wisdom you still seem to not get the point. You are looking at this from your perspective not from an endgame players vision, which if you are will want to complete all the milestones. Its an event, an event that you can fully finish if you complete all the requirements and most of the requirements just spell out -"Do all the events in the game and you will get points"..so yeah players who do that will get the rewards..again most of the endgame players who play BG, AW, raids..monthly content. If you're trying to do EVERYTHING, then perhaps. However, that's really an elective process. It's also extreme. Not all Players are meant to get all Rewards. Quite honestly, I'm playing as usual and whatever I pick up will be fine. It's not essential to do everything and get every Milestone, and people shouldn't drive themselves crazy if it's not in their wheelhouse, when you consider the Rewards, especially the last several ones. Some Titan Shards and a few extra thousand Gem Shards aren't worth that much stress. I suspect they didn't want to encourage everyone to go all out. That's not an essential thing. It's not absolutely essential, though.you mind elaborating on that mr wisdom? would you rather I spend thousands of dollars when i could have very well switched alliances, participated in raids and reached the last milestones had I been informed prior?
why dont you lay out a spreadsheet and see where you land on the milestones without a single point from raids?
The ranked rewards are not something all players are supposed to reach obviously cos its a whaling contest ..but the normal milestones in a community event/celebration like this, this was just poor communication.
