Re: Battlegrounds Exclusive event
I'm genuinely trying to better understand the feedback here. Are you suggesting that because December turned out to be a strong month, we should avoid launching any additional offers in January?
The feedback on the presentation and placement of the offer is duly noted - and personally, I think they're very fair and well-founded.
That said, I think we're crossing into misleading territory when we start calling this "pay-to-play," etc, when the contents are no different from a normal offer, or a purchasable bonus to the already existing Battlegrounds 48-hour Objectives - similar to the platinum pass in the double track events, etc.
7* Rhino Event Q
Reason I ask: So looks like we need 7000 points to get Rhino. If you complete all of the week 1 challenges you get 2000 film which can be converted to 2000 points. Looks like the event ends in just under 21 days, so assuming we have access to another 2000 points in a week, then a final 2000 in the final week, that puts us 1000 short. Of course you can pay for points by buying bundles to get to 7000.
Just wondering if I’m right that he is behind a pay wall, or is there going to be 3000 points in one of the upcoming weeks?

Voting for her as well

Alright. Since she's indirectly representing my country (Japan), I'm rallying with you.
Re: PERMANENTLY DISABLE EMOTE
Why would Kabam allow you to keep your mute settings from match to match?
They sell emotes, many of them mocking ones designed to tilt the opponent and hopefully get them to rage spend on the game to get revenge.
But I'm sure the next livestream Kabam will again say "Let's be nice to one another" (while paywalling the antisocial Drax and Lumatrix emotes in the webstore).
Re: Battlegrounds matchmaking still sucks
If your expectation was for that to change, then you really just set yourself up for disappointment unfortunately.

Re: PERMANENTLY DISABLE EMOTE
I hear what you're saying, but you know, there are many perspectives and situations out there, not just your own.
Like I'll give you an example. A former alliance mate of mine had a medical condition that would periodically render her bed-ridden for long stretches of time. I won't go into details, but basically it's the worst kind of fatigue there is, where you can't sleep, can't rest, but also can't really function either. Kind of stuck in the prison of your own mind.
Anyway, MCOC was kind of her escape during those stretches, and she liked playing BGs. Even though she wasn't very good, she still enjoyed it, including the emotes.
But there came a time, maybe around the time of the webstore emotes or the super-aggressive radiance/BG-focused monetization, but basically, the nasty emote spamming she said got to the point of harassment. And she didn't really want to mute every match and hide from interacting with other players. And basically she just stopped playing and left the alliance.
I don't say this to blame people who spam nasty emotes, clearly they have their own issues, either because they're teenage incels or adults with more troubling mental health problems.
But it's just sad imo that Kabam encourages this (why else hand out nasty mocking emotes, especially behind a paywall) and makes it impossible to opt out without rushing to mute your opponent before every match.
And then on top of it all to have Kabam spokemen try to take the moral high ground on the livestreams and grandstand and say "Be nice to each other!" It's basically like the tobacco company lecturing people to make healthy choices in life.
