Gentle - made to counter Bullseye, is okay in other matchups
Spider-Woman - made to counter Enchantress, is very good in most matchups
Notice the difference? They keep making all these one trick ponies and don't realize until people that actually play the game touch them that the ponies can sometimes do more tricks.

Why nerfing Spider Woman is a really bad move
Dont get me wrong some champions are literally asking to be nerfed and its often had been done before. So what is wrong with this nerf? Let me explain.
Previously the reasons for nerfing a champion have been either some game breaking mechanics he had (permastun etc) or that his kit hasnt been functioning as described (most recent nerfs of Shocker and Kingpin are good examples of that). With Spiderwoman neither is the case. As of now she is strong but not overpowered champion that in no way breaks the game. Removing her Ensnare just lowers her utility she was initially "sold" with. You cant also insist that there is some mistake in her kit description. That Ensnare was included from the start there and worked exactly as described.
So the only reason for the Spider Woman nerf seems to be "we have released a very strong but not "paywalled" champion that a lot of people have got for free from the recent Titans openings (to nerf her just a week after people were specifically opening their stashed Titan crystals to get SW is especially frustrating) and intend to change this". And this is really low.

No, this is just a glaringly dishonest nerf.
Kabam claims to care about an oversaturation of difficult defenders as justification for this yet the biggest defensive threats aren't touched and they're claiming to nerf her defensively while nerfing her on attack. This is sleight of hand dishonesty.
If Kabam wants to nerf her defensively, they can simply adjust her kit so ensnare doesn't exist on defense, it's that's simple.

If this horrible nerf enters, am I retiring after 10 years and a veteran account, we CAN'T have nice champs, but Serpent is balanced, it's a total disrespect, enough is enough.

I think the elsnere should be remove on defense but kept on offense if they really want to update but to be honest she is perfect the way she is. There are other champions who really need a rebalance no spiderwoman

You offer a champion in several sales,then after I have spent nearly £3000 while pulling junk after junk after junk until finally getting her on my 14th titan crystal of this new pool,you alter my purchase.i bought every shard of both crystals since she was released,over 30 titans 5 titan nexus,10+ FF nexus ,God knows how many FF 7* and valiant/paragon,trawling through countless garbage champions to get 1 champion,just for you to alter my purchase.
Fine,just refund everything.
I dont trust you any more.designing champions just to change them after people have made you millions,is nothing more than a scam.
