simple answer: accountants are calling 100% of the shots now. Being in touch with the community is irrelevant to them. Everyone else is just doing what they’re told and aren’t bothering to defend the indefensible.

It’s all about hitting sales goals now with zero interest in customer relationships or building/keeping the brand. Best case is they offload the game to someone who cares before they run it into the ground.

Mcoc 2 will die within the first year. All new games die within the first year. Netmarble knows this so that is why they are milking more and more money out of mcoc. Worst part is that bozos will eat it all up and drop their life savings on Red Guardian, Dark Phoenix, and Torch.

I am not an attorney, but I have been studying these legal issues for a very long time. Probably longer than you’ve been playing online games. You’re not going to find very many lawsuits of the type you’re suggesting, and virtually none of them win. The ones you do find where there was a judgment in favor of the plaintiff were decided on completely different technical grounds. The idea that you could sue based on Kabam changing the properties of a champion you purchased is going to fail on several grounds:

1. You do not buy champs. You buy crystals. You buy bundles. You do not buy champs. You don’t own champs. You only purchase the right to use things in the game. Kabam reserves the right to change things, or even delete them completely from the game. Kabam could shut the game down tomorrow and you would have no legal recourse to get your money back.
2. Champs have no monetary value. You’re not allowed to sell or trade them or exchange them in any way for material value. Doing so is against the TOS of the game. As a result, even if you could argue that Kabam changed something you “bought” you couldn’t assert monetary damages. The TOS forbids you from doing so.
3. You can’t argue that the TOS is invalid or you do not accept its terms. If you choose not to accept the terms set forth in the TOS, you are required to stop playing the game. Playing the game while deliberately refusing to accept the TOS means you are playing the game without permission. This would be an admission of theft of service. This is not a winning strategy in a court of law.

In the US especially, you can sue over anything, and anything is possible. However, any good attorney would advise you the odds of winning such a case is vanishingly small, most people who have tried have not gotten past dismissal with prejudice or summary judgment, and no one has yet won based on the premise of false advertising or material loss due to a game balance change. Not in the western world, anyway.

But don’t take my word for it. Speak to an actual attorney. Find one willing to take your case that doesn’t ask for a huge retainer in advance.

I actually like it like this. I prefer one lane rather having to run 5 lanes for completion.

Is 16 fights too long? It really depends on roster size.

As an FYI I’ve got them all rank 3…so I’m sure they’ll decide to take crucial parts of their kit away and then proceed not to give us rank down gems. I was already mad about Titania when they fixed silk…who…by the way…still isn’t the same as she was…but that’s a song for another time. They just keep making L after L decision

I don’t even understand their thought process behind this. Literally part of her kit and why I ranked her up and used a science AG on her. This isn’t just a nerf but a HARD nerf. She was perfectly balanced…esp with champs like serpent in game.
