I'm guessing the novelty of bonus radiance vs the grind wore off for most players who don't regularly push GC rankings.

For me, getting into the GC was no problem as usual, but fighting in the GC is. I'm a seasoned end gamer with more than 15r4s and I've never struggled to hit 200 pts this much.

It's getting repetitive fighting the same OP 7*R4 defenders over and over and losing.

And the data that lead you to believe the game is more popular than ever…?

Based on matching times and the spread between tiers when I get matched in GC, feels pretty dead to me. I’m mediocre as hell, so can’t testify about what goes on in mysterium and above. But general population engagement feels like it’s in the tank.

that is spot on my predicament - I just don’t enjoy battlegrounds and doing the bare minimum for my alliance is the only reason I engage at all

I don't know how you guys do it. Any alliance things feel like a chore and not even worth it or fun.
