You have a point. Why should they nerf a miniboss, where if you dont have 5 out of 300 champions to fight against him every day, multiple times per day, you just die.

I like the change. I agree with @ItsClobberinTime in that I dislike unreliable abilities. The AA reduction of Ensnare is cool in situations where it doesn't really matter, but when you need pinpoint precision, having a 30% of things failing can be detrimental. And having things fail 30% of the time whenever you fought her was excruciating. Even if you brought in champions that should be able to counter her, those counter abilities could fail and you'd be screwed anyway.

Meanwhile, I believe Kabam when they say that this will make her an even more reliable evade counter since her opponents now won't be able to shrug off the debuff that shuts down their evade. I think that's a fair compromise. You lose a little and you gain a little, but overall I think both changes make her more reliable on both attack and defense, and that's ultimately a very good thing. I'm still happy that I have her ranked up.

The way I read it is that you can buy EMs with energy rather than units. If it works the way I think it does, that would mean that you could trade in your energy whenever you're not using it for EMs. Before you go to bed, for example. Let's say you've got 15 energy left after doing a quest or something, you can just trade that in for some EMs. You don't have to spend that excess energy actually doing Battlegrounds there and then, but can instead cash it in so that you have more EMs to use whenever you actually want to use them.

If that's how it works, it sounds as if it gives us as players a lot more freedom with how we spend our time in BGs.

However valid his points maybe, his execution of them is pretty bad. He's painting himself as some sort of savior by starting his video by saying he's willing to come their and work for free for a few months to fix the game. In another video he claims he's one of the few ccp members to speak up over changes he thinks are bad. Man's got an overinflated opinion of himself.

He was likely asked to leave. The ccp is a privilege they give to certain people. You can critisize the direction of the game and it's issues but when you're essentially saying you all suck at your jobs, let me fix it, no company is going to happy about that.

His criticisms are valid and they aren’t shocking or out of step if you have played this game, watched content, and seen Kabam’s attitude at times. This game on the wrong track…. And nothing in the Dev diary suggests otherwise from a 30,000 feet perspective. The people making all the wrong decisions that have been course corrected (and not fully corrected) are still making the decisions… that’s no a recipe for success.

Kidding. This ain't it Kabam. For people that cannot or have not identified "corporate speak" in past - this IS it. Doesn't even scratch the surface - and in fact, your admission that there are internal issues and people not talking to each other just makes it worse. It also doesn't address the core issues facing the game these days. All you did here was walk back on things that were bad ideas to begin with (again, on you).

I see people talking about Defenders, a big part of this update for Spider-Woman was because she was overperforming on Defense - and we are feeling the same way about the oversaturation of Defenders as all of you.

The Comp was brought up here as well - this will of course be subjective, but I think you will be pleased with it.

I'll be touching on the Dev Diary and the changes outlined in the beginning of the Stream, especially regarding EQ and Elders Marks. Not going to spend too much time on it, but it will be there.

What lack of energy, the 1 refill a day the super event gives is more than we got before any of the reductions.
