Kabam is unknowingly taking this matter lightly and skipping the anger which summoners are facing but in future they will see the consequences of this way of implementing or modification which is being to Champs after release

1. Photon doesn't have hard to dex specials they are straight up undexable if you don't play around pure light properly. Neither do Red Skull, Kindred or Thanos, they have mechanics and kits that make them somewhat tough to fight and stall hard but it isn't full on bs like the others.
2. There are multiple mechanics in game that could take things even further such as reversed controls evade root etc which they have already started using on certain dual threats like Spider Woman Jean and Cassandra.
3. I would understand if we got bs defenders every once in a while like back in the Domino days but we've received four this year so far with Yelena Zola Dark Phoenix and Capt. Britain. They're turning the whole BGs experience into a card game and that's just not fun.

You can create tough defenders like Onslaught Photon Kindred Thanos Red Skull without bs mechanics like Serpent Bullseye Dark Phoenix Zola and Capt. Britain who deal unavoidable damage for just existing. You don’t need to create bs defenders with unavoidable damage to keep the game from getting stale and Onslaught and Photon are the biggest proof of this. What the hell happened to tough defenders that could be countered with anyone? Those type of defenders were fun, this however (Serpent Bullseye etc) is just lazy mediocre design with the sole purpose of milking whales.

Only 1 of those 4 is truly BS. The rest just had the misfortune of being shoved straight into a tactic pool in AW that supercharged them. Yes, there are BG nodes that can make bullseye, enchantress and onslaught unplayable. But that doesn't happen as often as serpent or even dark phoenix now. So the argument that defenders need to OP to expand the design space is bogus. It's a lack of creativity on the designers most likely due to deadline constraints and other economic pressures at Kabam.

No, personally I think its a subtle nerf to your favorite characters and synergies. Can't use any synergies, cant use your favorite characters more than once. No one has enough R4's to make it streamline so most of us are using under ranked champions to drudge through it. I've tried since it came out but I have not once been able to find the energy or the care to do it fully.
