Re: Skill path in the Deadpool side quest is soo unfun
I just quit out and reenter any time it gives me that path tbh
Re: If you had 50 million Battlechips …
This is not the case. Someone did a fairly large opening and drew that conclusion from their results, but the two problems with that are a) random chance means you never get exactly the statistical average, so if I open a bunch of each type, there will always be a “winner” and “loser” but there’s also a statistical margin for error which wasn’t factored in, and b) we actually know what the actual drop odds and drop amounts are, so the statistical average is calculable for all three crystals, and it is exactly the same: 1840 per million BC.
Since 2021 I’ve opened 58 million BC worth of TB arena crystals. 20 crystals per million BC batch, 1160 crystals total. The total units from all those crystals is 106875, which is an average of 1843 units per batch. The biggest batch I have I opened was 5250, and the smallest was 375 units. It is highly variable because you’re opening so few crystals per batch with very high unit counts (375 and 1125 units for the small drop and the large drop respectively).
If I had 50 million BC and was planning to open them all at once, I would definitely open the TB crystals. First, because I don’t want to go insane opening tens of thousands of arena crystals, but second because the TB crystals are very slightly more valuable. In terms of units, all three crystals have the same average return. But in two ways the TB crystals is more valuable. First, the Punishers have higher rarity, and assuming most people would consider the higher rarity Punishers far more valuable than the lower one that crystal has an edge. Second, the TB crystals has a very slightly higher gold return per million BC than the other two crystals due to the need to scale it differently for energy drops. The UC crystal has a chance to drop five full energy refills. Scaling up the TB crystals would imply it should occasionally drop 25 refills. But that was seen as problematic, because many players would not be able to use 25 refills before they expired from stash. So the TB crystals has a higher chance to drop 10 refills instead, so its net energy return is identical to the basic and UC crystal. But those odds had to come from somewhere, so the odds of dropping gold in the TB crystals is slightly lower than in the other two. To compensate, the gold drops are slightly higher than 5x of the UC crystal, and those numbers are rounded up so the crystal doesn’t have worse gold return. Instead, its very slightly higher.
So with a 50 million pile of BC, I would go TB. It’s enough to average out the unit return fairly well, you get better Punisher drops, and you’ll net a slightly higher amount of gold. And you’ll only have to open a thousand crystals.
Re: X-23 feelings???
I unfortunately have to agree with Cheesemaster. Waste of a buff and the box slot
Re: Why is AQ pending? Says we're not enlisted.
Wtf is Coliseum? And my lions have nail and dental appointments this week. We'll have to reschedule.
Re: Skill path in the Deadpool side quest is soo unfun
It is the dumbest path design I have ever seen.
For a Quest when path is chosen at random and you only take 3 champs with you. Over 4 mins just to do one Side quest fight.
Honestly this is why players ask if MCoC designers actually play their own product.
Re: X-23 feelings???
It is an impressively underwhelming buff considering the players voted for her to be buffed. They wasted all that time voting for almost nothing. She is better, but is she more worth using now? I'd argue she is not. Now I'm kinda glad Rogue didn't win. There's still hope for her.
Re: X-23 feelings???
Don't judge her until you see her 7 Star gameplay -
X-23 is stupidly fun.
Re: Skill path in the Deadpool side quest is soo unfun
Absolutley agree. The time versus reward ratio is way off. Those fights take forever for no reason other than stupid node combination.
Re: Skill path in the Deadpool side quest is soo unfun
^ I'm not even gonna type allat again, but 100% agree that node combo just sucks.
Stellar-Forged Champion Predictions!
Shoutout to @Wicket329, @Ercarret, @Rockypantherx and @Masterpuff for your contributions! Let’s jump right in.
Here is what we know:
1) The first two champions are Doctor Doom and Star-Lord.
2) Both champions are class shifted: Doctor Doom to Cosmic and Star-Lord to Skill.
3) Doctor Doom’s release has been timed with the MCU Avengers: Doomsday release.
Here are the patterns and gaps we have identified:
1) Kabam have yet to release a Mutant champion across Deathless, Eidol and (so far) Stellar-Forged.
2) Kabam typically release 2 male champions and 2 female champions, irrespective of the final piece’s gender.
3) Kabam are likely looking at older champions, probably eligible for a buff.
4) Kabam typically release a variety of sizes in champions.
Here is what we have assumed based on the above:
1) At least 1 of the 3 champions will likely be class shifted to Mutant.
2) Kabam will release 2 more female champions.
3) The champions selected will be from a pool of older champions (2019 and before).
4) It is the male champion that will likely be L or XL in size, since there are only 2 female champions that fit criteria 3 and 4.
Here is what we have observed but did not necessarily factor in:
1) Owing to the setup so far in line with MCU’s release of Doomsday, Kabam could be gearing up for something along the lines of ‘Factions against Doom’: Guardians, Wakandans, Avengers, Fantastic 4, Thunderbolts and X-Men.
2) The above can be counter-argued by the fact that Stellar-Forged could bring about a heroic trope for villains, the same way Deathless brought about a villainous trope for heroes.
Bloopers:
1) Superior Class Squirrel Girl @Ercarret
2) Superior Class Ronin @Masterpuff
And without further ado, please find the list of champions who we believe are eligible for the Stellar-Forged chase (circle colour represents class shift)
