My general thought is Kabam is incentivizing bad behavior. Not to say all those who opened their crystals immediately knew about the bug. But the word spreads fast and then boom people were mass opening knowing there was compensation. The result is those who couldn’t or didn’t get nothing in compensation while those who opened their crystals immediately get double amount of champions plus all the titan shards. It would have been better to roll back all openings which logically is too difficult. What irritates me I actually spend a decent amount of money on the game but really don’t know about these issues because I’m too busy working when they happen. So I almost never in the 10 years I’ve been playing get any rewards for these situations. Whereas a ton of people take advantage of it all the time. I usually cut back on my spending for a while when these things happen because it truly is a rotten system.

The compensation should have been to send 1:1 fixed crystals to those who opened the broken crystals and 1:1 broken crystals to those who opened the fixed crystals. That way, everyone who had been hoarding crystals for this opening would have ended up with the same odds of opening up the new champions, without being penalised for opening their crystals after the fix.

I lost out on 22 7*s plus the resources that go with them due to finishing work a few minutes after the fix. Needless to say, I'm not happy.

They didn't even mention the situation on the stream for a reason, they want to sweep this under that lumpy rug.

Just make sure you get in there within the first 30 mins of launch in case there is a compensation

Imagine getting 50 free 7* crystals because you opened them at 10:47 a.m. instead of 10:48 a.m.

Props to Kabam Mike for relaying the community concerns to the game team, but the game team's decisionmaking is an absolute joke.

there is some great stuff above… but given how this is the first time for those of us who didn't get a preview at Summoner Fest or have a Kabam employee in their alliance… can we get a bit more information specific to the alliance mode regarding things like… costs per attempt (for single player you mentioned energy, but I don't see anything about alliance mode). Its not even clear how much say alliances have on "which days to do it" (similar to AQ schedule and how Raid goes over a whole week, and if knocking out 3 podiums day one is important… its going to be really hard for those who might be sleeping when it drops.

You suggest that its all about milestones… and even hint that maybe end game players won't care about rank rewards. Why not give more information so alliances can do a little planning?

From what it sounds like above, it sounds like releasing this as a single player mode first, and then making it an AQ fill in week a round or two later would have made for a less stressful introduction to what sounds like a cool concept. It could even have been some kind of challenge (e.g. Carina's 4.0… do N health bars with a champion tagged such and such to get some r5 material), and only once the tires have been kicked a bit, set it up for a competitive mode.
