I just woke up and haven't had my morning anything yet, but I just wanted to quickly say two things:

One: no, this is not the last milestone. As I've said repeatedly, I do not know what the milestones are. But I do know where they are. Technically, I probably shouldn't say that, but they can sue me (literally: they can actually sue me).

Two: some stuff I can say, some stuff I cannot say, some stuff I maybe dance close to getting into trouble for saying. But I would not spend a couple weeks telling the players they could reach a milestone that I knew for a fact did not exist. If I knew for a fact the milestones ended at, say, 55, I would have said something like "we could reach milestone 58 assuming it exists, which it might not.

I kid around just like anyone else, but some stuff I would not joke about because I know there's a lot of people who take me as seriously as a heart attack. I would not joke about people spending money or units (unless it was, you know, obviously a joke).

As to why its an SBC? Dunno. As I said, I don't know what they are in advance. Maybe the next one will be a Colossal SBC. Maybe its four SBCs and a Jubilant. Maybe Crashed doesn't actually like you all as much as he claims to. Like I said, its been a great run overall, and it isn't over yet, so lets chill a bit on individual rewards and see what pops out next. If they are popping them one at a time, that's probably why. They want to see how we react to the suspense of seeing them one at time, this close to the end.

Maybe they just like to see social media go ape sh- sometimes. I know I do. If the higher rewards are great, it'll all be forgotten anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this SBC count as a non-purchased crystal? Thus, it would only net someone 100 pts, not 400 if you purchased/opened one.

I really like the idea of finishing on a single crystal. It’s the equivalent of opening the last gift under the tree, expecting something amazing, and finding it’s a pair of underpants your mad old aunt bought you out of a thrift store.
