Re: 2025 Banquet Realm Event Progress
Update:
I've been made aware there's a picture floating around purporting to show someone scoring 31 million points in the banquet. That is a laughably high score (last year someone was confirmed to have spent almost $200k USD to score 8.8 million), and it is also a fake. The version I saw was clean enough to detect that the score is a cut and paste from a different part of the game (so the font is correct) into the banquet participation leaderboard. No one has or will score that much.
I'm putting this out there because a) I hate stuff like this, whoever did it can burn in hell and b) it can discourage the players who are actually competing for top spots, which is bad for them, bad for Kabam, and ultimately bad for all of us. If anyone reading this happens to know the original author, by all means pretend they are a Thronebreaker player and give them a slap in the face from me.
Updated projections coming soon.

Banquet → Divorce → Going into debt to buy crystals → Drugs
Wow I wonder what’s next, the topics getting wild in here
Re: 2025 Banquet Realm Event Progress
What if we reach milestone 64? Is that one single SBC as the true final milestone?
Re: 2025 Banquet Realm Event Progress
People are always free to make their own decisions about their own money. However, I would never recommend going into debt to spend money on a mobile game. This is especially true when everyone around you is spending in a time-limited event. Most people cannot consistently think rationally about finances under that FOMO time pressure.
I'm personally in a place where I can spend whatever I want on whatever I want. But that's because I've spend literal decades going through priorities: I saved for a home, I saved for six figures of renovations, I paid off all my debt (*all* of it: I don't even have car payments), I've fully funded my retirement, and then I fully funded my retirement again (because as an engineer, I believe in redundancy). I have no mortgage, no student loans, my credit cards are all paid off, I could retire tomorrow and live to 245 on my savings.
Most of us can't live like monks. We need to spend here and there on things that make life worth living. We need fun, we need entertainment, we need some of life's pleasures, and many of them cost money. But tomorrow is another way, and you need to keep some powder dry for the future. And everything we are buying today others will get for free tomorrow. We're paying to get stuff now instead of later. That's fun, but that's all.
Spend if you can, and you're having fun doing it, and it doesn't cost you what you can't afford to lose.
Only spend if you can, and you're having fun doing it, and it doesn't cost you what you can't afford to lose.
Re: Going to make the safest MCOC 2026 prediction ever
Even safer prediction: since we voted for the ghost rider buff it will be mid as hell
Incursions not giving any rewards
Re: 2025 Banquet Realm Event Progress
Late gift card I received from a family member yesterday, felt into the FOMO and addiction, bought 10 SBCs and got Nimrod from a Gala Valiant. Anyway.. I am BringPopcorn and I am MCoCholic, lost my 18 month chip.
Re: Extending the Banquet?
I wish it could be Christmas every day. But not really, for the same reasons.
Re: 2025 Banquet Realm Event Progress
If money is too tight to buy an offer now, then it is too tight to go into debt for, even if it is 0% interest (if you actually pay it off in time). I understand you're not encouraging people to go into debt, but any debt is risk and is ultimately unwise if it is avoidable, and especially unwise in a retail setting. Going into debt for a game is avoidable.
