They did put shiny selector in rank reward, you have to earn that.
And give extra chance to players who are unable to reach that rank reward, this is bonus, and luck based whom you are going to pull, just like every other crystal in the game.

More ties implies higher density of players, and higher density implies lower scores. So for everyone hoping I was wildly wrong about cutoffs above 1%, this would be a good sign.

To explain relics:

• The most important thing about them is that they give you access to a striker, which lets you continue your combo after your normal combo-ender. You do a five-hit combo, throw a striker that has a few hits of its own, then get a "stun" (that always work, even if the defender is stun immune), and can do a new combo/heavy/special attack after that. You get this striker regardless of whether or not you're using Battlecasts or Statcasts.
• So what's the difference between Battlecasts and Statcasts? It's pretty easy. Let's first explain Statcasts. They give your champion a little bump to their stats, on both attack and defense. So when people are recommending the Domino Statcast relic, it's because its primary stat is Energy Penetration, which makes a champion such as Jean (who relies on energy damage) deal more damage. All Domino Statcast relics have this Energy Penetration stat boost, but the difference between the three that you have is that they all have different secondary stat boosts. My three 5* Domino relics have Physical Penetration, Physical Resistance, and Armor as their respective secondary stat boosts.
• Meanwhile, Battlecasts only work on attack but enhances your champion's abilities in some type of way. For example, the Gambit Battlecast increases your critical rating whenever you throw a special that deals physical damage. Not very good for Jean since she deals energy damage, but amazing for quite a few other mutant champions. You can tweak those Battlecast relics in a way that you can't with Statcasts, with runes that you can swap around to your liking.

Don't listen to swiss cheese he's a little slow. Kitty is better than any of the champs that were in the Banquet box the only reason nobody uses her anymore is because she's 6* locked but with stat focus challenger rating and the extra ranks she is probably going to be insane and still a top 5 if not top 3 mutant.
