Saga Incursion completion not logging realm event points.
I just completed four zones of Saga sector in incursions. It did not give me the 1000 points per zone that you’re supposed to get for the realm event. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I know it was working because yesterday I was able to complete saga sector and did receive points.
Did something change where now it’s only the first completion of a zone the rewards the points?
It’s gonna make it really hard to grind for top rewards in this event.

Re: So that's quite a lot.
It's so they can say they're giving away $10,000 in prizes to first place while that $10,000 only costs them about $1.25 in someone's labor to put it into their account. No, it's because we thought it would be fun to give the winner hundreds of thousands of Units
Re: The Huge dependence on raids should have been announced earlier
Although it’s frustrating, there’s a very easy way to get all the rewards even though you missed raids this week. First, find an alliance that’s doing raids the next three weeks. Second, go through saga incursions one extra time to get the points you missed out on the first week of raids. You’ll be back to where everyone else is and not miss any rewards. As much as I agree with you, finding an alliance after war season starts, after BG starts, after raids started is not optimal.
It also puts people who worked on putting together an alliance in a pretty crappy situation of losing people left and right.
Realm events should be based on players not groups of 30 people.

Did they fire the guy who used to make the announcements and charts like this with all the scoring info before the event started?

That's an example chart; but I haven't seen those in a long time.

“Announced earlier”? You mean “announced at all” lol. There was AND STILL IS no official announcement or breakdown of the event whatsoever. The very second the first week of raids started was when the event dropped unexpectedly. Literally too late to do anything about.
This might be the worst failure of communication of an event ever.

@SirGamesBond there’s that and the Twitch drops and then the general mess they’ve made of this month and what’s supposed to be a community-wide Realm event.
Fine with it either way. There are exactly 18 7* champs I don’t have (including MODOK). Two are the newest ones, two are in the Titan, at least eight are trophies, one is Mr. F, two are in basic/loyalty and the rest are purchase champs. I’m not losing sleep over MODOK.

Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
I'm sorry but if there's NO way you can place #1 without having to spend, it's called a PAY TO WIN event. They are unobtainable even if you do pay, unless you also basically do everything. Normally the term pay to win refers to games where either whomever pays the most wins, or spending offers an overwhelming advantage compared to everything else. But that's not really true here, except in an essentially unrealistic extreme. Spending offers an advantage between two players who otherwise are tied in all other respects, but having an advantage between two competitors who otherwise do exactly the same things equally well is not pay to win, that is literally all competitions. There are ranked rewards, which will be unobtainable unless you payI wouldn't call it pay to win. Sure, spending could be a tie breaker for points, but if you don't do everything, especially Raids, no amount of spending is going to catch you up.There are 300,000 total earnable points, so yes you can reach the top milestone, even if you miss a few.Why do you make everything p2w?
Well, technically speaking $24,000 USD might catch you up. But even among the mega whales I suspect the number of people who will actually do that is very close to zero.
Since about a third of the realm points are in Raids, and my alliance doesn't do raids (much less Nightmare Raids which seems to be required to cap out the milestones) I'm basically out of it. But the event is still giving me a ton of rewards for basically just playing the game more or less as I normally do, so I can't be too upset. I find it ... odd that there's so much emphasis on Raids given their presumptive optional nature - and the fact they are tied to alliances, meaning individual players cannot simply choose to do them just for the event - but I suppose Kabam has its reasons there.
I would call that pay to win
