It's not enough to max out, but you can max out a character and almost all of the team synergies, then just use the masteries you earn to build up the other characters. Shatter mode is easier than the last couple chapters, so nothing really needs to be maxed out.

No, but they're not worth buying. If you want a shortcut, buy one, but they don't offer you anything else than finishing the dumb game faster.

Spent $8 for the tickets to buy the tokens to knock out all the objectives. That was $8 well spent, boring, but easy rewards.

There should be a total of 84 entries for the minimum of 67 runs that need to be done (8 story, 59 shatter), so you've got wiggle room. I would suggest going back to quest 1 and running it a few times to build up mastery points, then go back to quest 3. You still get 10 mastery points every single run, so you can farm for a bit, then move forward stronger.

Why do you have to do 59 runs of shatter? I thought it was only 25.

The progress resets on every new step.

This entire game mode is the least intuitive thing I've ever seen. It's so bad.

And each day one of my 3 entries is used on a chapter I *just* miss competing wave 8, so only 2 of my 3 entries are even yielding me real progress.

His standard kit is annoying but manageable. He's the 5/5 defender we want as a community. There's a lot going on, some of it is situational but practically all aspects of it are answered by any champion.

I completely agree with this.
These are the 5/5s we should have been getting all along not those bosses being packaged as regular champion releases.
In the context of those, high evolutionary is mid, but in the context of what 5/5s should have been he's perfect imo and kabam should lean further in this direction for 5/5s going forward
