One question for you @WednesdayLength, do you believe all players can hit the 285,000 mark without doing the AW Showcase related points and Nightmare raids? Just curious and if so please let me know. This realm event seems different than prior ones where the entire community could honestly get the top rewards and then the rank rewards is what distinguished between players.

No, because they're not supposed to. If you want or new the absolute top tier of rewards you shouldn't expect to get them without doing big content. This showcase is probably the easiest one we've had so far by the way

One point I would argue with is the notion of “big content.”

We can only do the content that’s in front of us, and whether that’s big enough or not isn’t really in our control. Sure, the Showcase and Gauntlet aren’t really bad but they aren’t really “big” compared to things like Carina’s or WoF or Necro. They’re just the latest incarnation of “harder” content.

As for top tier rewards being only available to players who compete the hardest content available, I agree with you—you should not get it all for less.

But I also think there’s a bit of a gap in the Realm event where a player who does everything except Raids finds himself at or below the 6* nexus crystal or even 6* saga sig stone milestones.

Obviously Kabam feels differently, but those aren’t anywhere near top rewards for players who can do everything else except Raids. There is decent stuff along the way, but the breakdown seems disproportionately weighted against non-Raids players and alliances.

If anything disappoints me about a “Realm” event, that’s it.

Edit: I will add that I am at the “1665 points every other day” part of this month with a 465 points from DSE day in between. That lasts for the rest of the month until August content drops. Adding points to my Realm score will be slow for the next few weeks, which kind of exemplifies the event design issues.

Lemme tell you guys one celestial secret.

The modders at the top gets banned much faster than the rest of our peasant tiers.
Except for that one season when a modder was sitting on c1 for 2-3 days lol.

They have closed groups with members from kabam present. Actions are taken rather swiftly when a modder enters those realms.
So, this is not a uniqe favoritism, this preference is given to all top guys and they earned that by reaching those ranks.
The only modders who survive the bans are the ones who have been modding for few hours, new ones.

You guys are ignorant to the fact that top ~20-30 celestial players constantly are communicating with each other about who is playing, who is streaming, who is queuing and much much more.

Anybody who is saying that a modder needs to be banned swiftly, I suggest you to join those groups, the top cream of the competitive mode.
You can't enter those as you are not in those ranks, as simple as that.

This post was made in bad faith. A rather selfish take on the issue.
I too absolutley do not care about lagacy, but that's a personal opinion. He is just a player like us outside that opinion.

In this particular case, lagacy was streaming and he cried for help from kabam people (yes I went and watched the 5 minute of the stream), and luckily they were there. If this perosn was another celestial player, they were watching, the actions would have been the same.
I don't know who has the power to ban these guys.
Fintech is new, so I'll assume he can only report.
Mike is not a technical dev(kinda), but he have more reach in the office.
Nah is an actual Dev, I'll assume he can ban players by himself. No, I don't know how they work.

I won't reply to popcorn, as this is not the right thread to talk about how and why these modders are allowed to roam freely. I get what you are saying... but this thread is not the one to discuss that.

All in all, things are different for top players. We peasants are not part of it. Thats how the world works. Make peace with it.

They're competing for the brawl

I think people are missing the point. Lagacy is a player that is competing at the top of the game to go to and participate in the biggest event thrown for it. He just happens to also be a popular youtuber who had a benefit of a kabam employee watching his stream when it happened.
It's not favoritism. It's a mix of coincidence due to circumstances and the brawl. If kabam happens to see someone blatantly cheating, especially at that level for this event, theyre going to pull the trigger immediately

I assume this stream was after officer hours?... This should have been taken care at the next day in the office... I mean he did cheat a bunch of people worth of 400 points already, what's 1 more even if its on stream?...
Unless they think its a good way to show that cheaters should watch out?..

Lizard I think is safe-ish, he's 99% likely but he's not guaranteed.

Since the Summoner's Choice this year was focused on martial arts and swords (I think?) I'm assuming Mr Knight's release will be beside Swordmaster (Lin Lie) cause I'm assuming they wanted a unique thing with swords for the event/side quest going on that month, and Lin Lie is *the* Swordmaster...or Black Knight.

I'm assuming Doom 2099 will be added to catch up with the MARVEL Rivals hype so probably November? Or a mad scientist duo month with Lizard in October?

Wonder Man is getting a show so he's a given I think to see added.

Gonna get like 2 Eidols thrown in to finish the 5 so altogether...

Doom 2099 is the one I'm not confident moreso on since I'd assume they wanna cash on RIVALS hype or Marvel would want to push him more so that can be swapped out
