Re: Patriot buff live... I think
The only other good thing he mentioned is that aside from Photon, the only two relevant defenders he'll be able to handle are High Evo because of the combo counter thing he basically won't have to deal with the autoblock, and then eventually when Scorpion is released as a 7* he won't have to deal with the evade at all. That's basically it tho, his only uses for BGs for now will he Photon and High Evo which he will nuke in 40 secs, other than that no reason to use him. Personally I will keep him in my deck once High Evo is in the Titan because he will be one of the fastest counters for that, but if you want him only for Photon not worth it.Guys don’t sleep on this buff, it’s actually quite goodIn the whole video patriot is not fighting any "actual defenders"https://youtu.be/hUKdYYbg3og?si=Cl02Khh0Gn5Fo25_
Other than his intended matchup of Photon, in the whole video he's fighting the fights that everyone else can fight but better 🥴
Like what?
Re: Patriot buff live... I think
My issue isnt even the "buff". Its his kit to begin with. He's basically created to kill Photon. Problem is he's not good against the science class in general. He puts debuffs on himself but doesnt remove debuffs which is a no no for some science champs bc they benefit from you having debuffs on said champ. Hes not good against the mystic class in general bc he still gains buffs. Throw mutant out of course. This is the issue with these super restrictive defenders. We need tough defenders but with the game going in the direction of needing a hard counter for these newer defenders to have success, the new attackers/counters that come later can sometimes end up being a good counter for that champ and not necessarily good in other places in general. Some are but this is how we end up with a Patriot or Falcon Joaquin. Im not ranking up Patriot up just to kill Photon and not really have use for him anywhere else. Wish he had more utility like an anti evade mechanism of some sort. Just my opinion. Everyone is respectfully entitled to theirs.I re-read his kit today before I took my sig 60 Patriot for a spin, and it really is ridiculous how directly it matches Photon. Seems like a joke almost. Vigilance if you parry, steadfast for unblockable specials, can’t reduce his regen, applies weakness to the opponent to reduce block damage, etc etc. I really don’t know if DLL designed him over a weekend or what.
And the whole reversal mechanic still seems like it’s supposed to be some kind of big deal, but it’s just a gimmick. All I want is to gain the fury and precision so I can do some real damage. But to do it I have to back off, charge a heavy, hope the AI cooperates, and then after they get back up, you have to get another opening to actually use those juicy buffs.
Re: So.. Why did Anti-venom get nerfed?
Isn’t it the same?
Old anti-venom had 10% personal debuff potency increase for every 10 hits, and 5% increased non personal debuff potency for every 10 hits. This capped at 50 hits so 50% debuff potency for personal and 25% for non personal.
Exacerbate (2.5% non damaging debuff potency for new debuffs) whenever he inflicts a personal debuff, and personal debuffs gain an extra 2.5% potency for 5% total, maxing out at 10 stacks. That’s still 50% personal debuff potency.
The fact that you can’t lose progress on this ability is a good thing. It means nodes that reset your combo or mess with it in some way, now do nothing. Now it’s consistent and reliable and still very effective at providing debuff potency. And they’re passive so they’re literally not going away.
And the fact that you get them up when you apply a personal debuff is good, you can use the petrify and staggers to get them up so quickly, rather than having to reach 50 combo.

Re: Patriot buff live... I think
As someone with a r3 patriot, i will say that i cant imagine using him in 99% of situations when i have better options. Imo he has one redeeming quality is the instant steadfast and i ranked him purely for that to counter node 42 spiderwoman as a last resource assignment. This balance doesn’t change how i play patriot, or why i want to use patriot. So ig he will be collect dust as a r3 till kabam decide to release another unblockable bg meta
Re: Crucible act 8
You just made that up completely lol nowhere does it say anything about "especially your 7*", it says it's one of the toughest challenges and to be prepared to bring in your strongest champs. Allowing us to use 6* wouldn't make this content challenging in the slightest and it's supposed to be "one of the toughest challenges". Act 8 wasn't even tough back when 6* were still relevant what makes you think it'll be "onw of the toughest challenges" if they don't 7* lock it? Literally Kingpin solos Bahamet with zero issues and so does Kitty with Scytalis, the same goes for the rest of the defenders there is no challenge if they let us use 6* the whole thing is going to be a walk in the park.It is known. There are no restrictions. Even in the description of Crucible they say use your best champions (especially your 7* champions). When there are any restrictions, it is stated immediately, it is strange that you cannot understand it. But if you do not believe in versions below 6*, then 6* and 7* are obviously availableNo restrictions on 7* version of champions. You can play whoever you want, even 2* haha... I remember I defeated the Red Goblin for 2* Ronan in Crucible in Act 7 out of boredomNot a good way of answering a question at all. Will it be 7* locked champs or can you also use 6* ?? I don’t know if they mentioned it on te last streamI don't think anybody but Kabam knows at this point. We'll have to wait and see until it goes live or a mod says something

I just advise you to take back your words. It seems rude, although I understand that not everyone is able to read the info

Class Showcase
Idk if I am seeing things or what but pretty sure before update this wasn't there. 🤔

No relic equipped yet somehow it shows Dthanos has gamora relic. Even on Skill map as well. CB.Jabari also had Valkyrie relics on them and possibly other skill champs on that map.

Re: Thoughts about Champions for 2025
Yes. They appeared with the update and were removed after about 2 hours I think.I'm looking at my tags now and don't see this. Did they remove it or did you see this from the livestream or a content creator?
I don't think everyone noticed this in the game, but Kabam was once again prematurely given future tags with the update. So, apparently these are Alliance War tags for the next saga.
I have already written more than once that the tittles of these tags do not come out of the blue and if they are not directly, then at least indirectly connected with the saga (Like Secutor and Provocateur in the Glorious Games saga, which meant types of Gladiators, and the saga was connected figuratively speaking with fights in the arena, which is also traced in the motion comic to the saga. House of Mirrors in the saga Arcade Games meant Murderworld. Coda and Genesis literally meant the mutant saga... I don't think it's worth mentioning that Fantastic and Frightful are literally related to the current f4 saga)
So, new tags Enfilade and Defilade (in the first Techs/Skills and Isophyne (i.e. it contains all the current 3 Eidols), in the second Mutant/Science... So it obviously has the last Eidol (in one of the tags) and the tags literally have to do with military positions, could this mean that the theme of the last saga is the WAR WITH EIDOLS? (at least i don't think it will be like a war with Founders) This is of course a somewhat crazy and poorly founded theory, but I think it could be true and it would be a truly great ending to this year-long "saga" with the Eidols.
Anyway, what do you think? (I, as I have already stated more than once, was hoping for a saga for a possible Dracula, but I would be thrilled to see a similar end to the year's Eidols invasion)
