I have a 7* R4 SIG 200 PATRIPAPI. (Just to add some credibility to my opinion). Most know this by now because of my constant Patripapi glaze.

REVIEW:

Patriot had the smallest of changes to his kit out of the 3… but for anyone who has seriously played Patriot, you’d know that his basic attack damage is great post-reversal at high/max ramp. It looks like he’ll be able to do his high basic attack damage for longer due to the increased fury duration. HOWEVER… they didn’t increase his precision duration… which was already much shorter than the fury passives duration… which means his precision will still expire wayyy to quickly, especially with passive AI… which kinda takes away from the affect of the increased fury duration…… his crits are where ALL his damage is at… so the fury buff duration being extended won’t mean as much as it seems. Why tf wouldn’t his precision passives duration be extended?!?! Kabam knew what they were doing with this. 🤦🏽‍♂️
Extended vulnerability debuff potency is great for him to deal more damage whilst you’re ramping up, to ensure that you’re burst of max damage will finish the job.

THE BEST THING ABOUT HIS BUFF:

THEY MADE PATRIOT’S UTILITY MUCH LESS NICHÉ AND EASIER TO ACCESS 🔥👍🏽 He now gains his Steadfast passive with just 3 DEBUFFS against all champions but mutant champions… whereas before, he could only gain the steadfast with 3 debuffs against Science champs alone. This is insane utility as he will basically be able to block ANY AND ALL UNBLOCKABLE ATTACKS ALMOST NEARLY KIND’VE CLOSE TO INSTANTLY! Never worry about any unblockable attacks with this guy. This is awesome utility. He also still has his miss counter buff on his parries which is insane and easy to access utility too.

CONCLUSION:

Kabam gate keeping Patriots max damage potential longevity by not increasing the duration of his precision debuffs. This sucks and they thought we wouldn’t realise 😤 His basic damage is top tier at max ramp but it won’t last nearly as long as it should.

He got an awesome buff to his utility and basically extends his utility to 5/6 of the other classes instead of just the 1/6. GREAT 🔥🔥🔥

An understandable buff that didn’t go overboard. He is nowhere near being Niché now. Increased damage. NO PRECISION DURATION EXTENTION. F**K.

This is just from what we see on paper. Kabam listened and moved his utility from his awakened ability to his main kit (which is where it always should have been.) We are yet to see his new awakening ability, but it seems like it will just be the same but with less in it. Hopefully there’s a little extra stuff in there but it looks like it’ll only be ‘increased precision passive potency’.

Kabam crashed look at this on Wednesday I was in good rhythm to get to 200 points and I was at 182 points but I encountered with this modder and I lost and it broke my rhythm and I was never able to get to 200 points even after playing 7 hours that day because I was having mind diversion after that match and I was thinking everyone modder and was choosing fast attackers than defenders
And because of this for the first time I wasn't able to get my 10k raidiance since it's launched I was thinking to contact support for this issue but then I realised what will support do if I didn't even claim the objective in first go 😞
Also the last minute server issue that could have also been part of many players losing their radiance if they are near the end of 200 points
Pls kabam crashed do something for this type of problems occuring time to time it just kills the fun of playing this mode

OP asked for a full written guide to a mode that frankly doesn’t need a lot of explanation.

If you read this whole stupid thread, there are about three informative comments regarding the mode, one of which is mine. Most of the comments are just idle **** about whether or not guides exist and who should make them and gaming norms or whatever.

My original point to OP was about how best to engage the people here who are in a position to help. Be direct, keep it simple. I wasn’t trolling anyone, including OP. But I find it amusing how many clowns jump in to support OP by taking pot shots at my comments — yet, strangely, they don’t take the time to actually help OP themselves.

What part of his question wasn't direct or simple enough? He asked "who counters who" which is not stated anywhere in the game and I doubt most youtube videos have it included either. He didn't ask for "what is the strategy to spend mastery points" like your informative comment explained. You clearly misunderstood or just made up your own narrative, it wasn't that deep really. Try to think again with a clearer mind maybe, its honestly not worth going on since @ captain_rogers already answered the question quite well I think.

I'll not go in depth, but it's probably because of OP and thier forum presence and nothing about the question they asked. I have no personal beef with them tho, but I too saw the thread and ignored. As OP is also super active in forums, not talking about less active forum users. The other thread I linked is the only helpful thread and it's aslo the best one to interact in. Its been up all along. The penzito person is still being helpful and replying to questions. If he didn't reply someonody else would.
