Re: Highly disappointed
This is above Pinwheel and literally everyone Pinwheel reports to's paygrade. Netmarble has made a concerted effort to share with shareholders their efforts to manage labor costs while increasing profit.Yea yea yea. Whatever I get that. How about you use all the money you guys accumulate from the whales spending on your game and hire more people to help fix the issues with your game… can’t be that hard to hire new employees with the amount of money you guys make.Okay lets say you have a car factory. You've got the car designers, the engineers, the sales people, the different factory lines that all do different things that all ultimately results in one finished car sold to you. If there was an issue with the car, saying hey we're having all employees report to the factory floor to work on this particular line is not a solution. That’s a stupid excuse I’m sure more then 85% of the community would not care if you guys said “hey we’re gonna hold off on new content like new side quests, events whatever, to focus all our team effort on a fixing issues that have persisted for the longest time. Also don’t ignore the gap between ftp and whales you know you love to cater to whales. Let’s start with bg. I get if you spend your more then likely gonna rank higher. When you make metas that if you have the new 5/5 defender and the counter to it your gonna win. Radiance new amazing currency, oh wait only available via pvp.So instead of doing important things to make everyone happy, like fixing AI issues, bugs, input issues. The gap between f2p and whales. You make events no one asks for. Which is still some how gonna benefit spenders. This arcade mode is so bad it’s funny. Do you guys listen to the community. Or do you only listen to whales. Until it’s a boycott you listen. Until it’s your wallets getting hurt you listen. Just fix the game and make it fair.Just to be clear, 100% hearing y'all on feedback with regards to Doom Cycle, have passed along those concerns to the team and leadership. However, want to dispel the rumor that this mode's development did not take away from fixing bugs, working on our improvements to ai, input issues etc. It's a large team here at Kabam that all do different things. Completely valid to not enjoy the mode, we're trying out new things. Gotten some pretty strong feedback about it so far which is fair. But it did not come at the expense of those other things.
The game team is big and covers a lot of different jobs and specialties. Stopping running side quests, or event new champs, is not gonna result in bg fixes or ai improvements. Its different jobs with different skillsets and knowledge bases. I wish it was that easy to snap your fingers and say hey we're gonna fix this, but its more complex than that.
That all said, this month's build release was rough. No hiding that. Proud of the game team for getting a lot of fixes out the door quickly, but all of us would be the first to say we wish they didn't have to do that in the first place.
Here's a drill down in the Q1 earnings report:

This is billions in KRW, btw. As an owner of 10 shares of Netmarble buried in my portfolio somewhere, shaving costs quarter over quarter is great and i applaud the effort in principle but do miss Miike. It's fair to express displeasure with game aspects, but yelling at the survivors about jobs and such isn't fair or productive. Plus, that money you speak of from "whales" is spent already. It's why businesses are so big on quarterly revenue reports hitting projections. Year over year they're already behind, and I'm not optimistic on Q2 improving on that. But i digress...
That said, my 14 year old builds better game modes than this in Roblox. One hit the top 30 trending briefly.
Re: DIMENSIONAL ARCADE, DOOM CYCLE - CHECK IN!
No. one issue: The terrible choice of running this mini-game in browser window - obviously leading to so many wasted runs among the players…
Other major issue: Lack of detailed information. An average champion description in MCoC is now several pages long and has so many ramifications and implications that soon you’ll need to take a week-long vacation just to study it. Contrary to it, this new attempt throws the players into cold water, barely bothering to utter ‘swim’.
Given that the rewards are quite generous, I can imagine that the aftermath of this event will be throngs of players bitter for not getting them due to above listed issues. A plethora of memes might emerge as well to be with us through the late summer - and years to come, possibly.
But I might be wrong and it could still turn out to be quite a successful event; however, I’m afraid that that would require an immediate hotfix - at least some sort of confirmation before quitting/warning about unsaved progress as others have pointed out already…
You might want to beta-test any similar ideas in the future. Properly and thoroughly.

Re: New Doom Cycle event
Torch also has a mastery for lifesteal as well which helps.Used all entries today and still stuck on 3 stage of story. Hacks don’t do much and hate the auto sp attack. Always activates when there’s only 1 defender standing with less than half hp. Atleast let us click when to use the specials.Masteries are key. Invisible woman’s team masteries are good. Also, use torch. His burn debuffs help nuke down health much much better than thing.

Re: Has anyone watched Fantastic Four: First Steps yet?
I’ve just seen it a few hours ago.
Without going into spoilers, I thought it was very well done. The performances were outstanding and I enjoyed the chemistry between the actors. Standout performances for me were Reed and Torch.
Initially I doubted Pedro but he absolutely delivered for me. He’s got Reed down pat with being a tortured soul and brilliant mind. Joseph Quinn I honestly was not sold on - even in the trailers. But my gosh I adored his take on torch. He had the perfect balance between being witty and intelligent, but also had a lot of heart to him. All the other actors did a phenomenal job.
I liked what the focus of the film was and how the plot was built around it. The CGI was well done, you begin to care about these characters you’ve never seen before.
There are minor things I didn’t like, like at times it felt quite fast-paced. This is not typically an issue for me, but I felt like being less than 2 hours, they could have given us an extra 20-30 minutes and spread it out a little, potentially give us a little more on the tail end as it wrapped up. The ending was something I actually wasn’t entirely expecting, and even though I would’ve preferred the ending to be different, I still thought it was well done. And if they HAD to go that route, it’s pretty much exactly how I’d want it to play out.
Overall very enjoyable. Personally I’m giving it an 8.5/10. Similar to thunderbolts, it felt pretty fresh, not just as we are introduced to a new group, but mainly because it feels like it has a vision, and the film is constructed around a central idea/theme that is carried throughout the movie.
I have to disagree somewhat about the CGI. I thought the CGI on the baby was pretty bad. I didn’t understand why they couldn’t use a real baby for most of the scenes. Aside from that, the movie was really good.
Re: Thanks for 5000 shards that are worthless
You’re not going to be seeing those shards every day dude. Heck I don’t even know where they go. If this is supposed to be some manipulative advertisement, it isn’t any different from the usual strategies they use like throwing out a million bad deals on the daily. It's not a gift if it's basically a psychologically manipulative advertisement embedded into your stash to remind you everyday that you'll never be able to use those "free" shards unless you pay for the remaining necessary shards. How so? A gift is a gift. We're not owed it.🍎 🍎 to 🍊 🍊Thankful for something free, but honestly I’m a bit puzzled. Not sure why anyone can be gifted something that can’t even be utilized once they get it. 🤷🏼♂️My grandma uaed to give me stuff I can't or won't use every xmas...
Each possible item in this gift should've been something theoretically usable without having to pay money.
If you can't see how that's a dirty tactic then you're either a bad faith troll or a good faith moron.
Not saying that it’s cool to have useless shards, but it’s just whatever. I don’t see what the ruckus is about. Were we even expecting this event? Because it certainly surprised me
Re: Thanks for 5000 shards that are worthless
I think you’re putting too much faith in the concept of boxes. The last boxes were good because they were made to be good for a special event. It doesn’t mean that every box will be good henceforth. They’re just a tool to deliver certain rewards, like crystals are.And it’s not envy for me. It’s a frustration that the game developers made the box with useless rewards apart from spending. So its basically envy then? You are mad other people got lucky and you didn't?They could have given you nothing for free. They did..
The last 2 boxes had a guaranteed 7 star champ. Even if I didn’t get a 7 star I wanted, I still got a 7 star. Not a 1/3 of a 7 star only in unique shards that hold zero value if I can’t complete to 15000.
Re: Is Kabam allergic to making new fun refreshing game modes with their marvel IP they have access to?
On one hand people say things are stale, on the other hand the moment they try something new people complain. Kinda makes it seem like a lose-lose scenario.
How about making less generalized statements and focusing more on what exactly you’d like to see from the new game modes and events?

Re: DIMENSIONAL ARCADE, DOOM CYCLE - CHECK IN!
Not exactly the definition of arcade.
Go undust the the old Atari system to play a game of Pong. Pong is more exciting than this mode. Maybe bring out the Nintendo handheld Donkey Kong game.
The game mode didn't come with a manual.
3 entries per 24 hours? Is it really stuck at 3,000 health?
Overall it was boring, it was not part of MCOC. There was no interaction in the game. It was more like it launched its own browser and a separate game with just F4 characters. Given existing MCOC has bugs, Kabam did this to as a means to avoid breaking the game further?
The announcement was a little hype. Why call it Doom Cycle? I was expecting Doc Doom on motorcycle arcade style game based on the title.
More than often I kept hitting the X which exits the mode. Kabam needs to take a class on user interface and navigation. When configuring mastery, I was expecting a Save button. Instead, clicked on the X which exits the mode; lost count how many times I did that.
