Hey friends, those Shards will be converted to 7 Star Shards after the Event is over π
They'll be converting on a 1-1 basis after the Saga, and there will be more opportunities to get more Saga Shards throughout the rest of it - so you can put these toward those full Crystals, or wait for them to convert; up to you.

You don't have to max them (and I don't know if you can). Here is my mastery set up that I spent $5 on a long with entry tickets. I bought the 250 bundle for cores, and the rest went to tickets. I was going to do screenshots but it would have been twelve pics (4x3), so sorry that it's a video. IW was invested first (way overkill), then torch (also overkill) and Mr F ( a slightly less overkill). Haven't tried with Thing yet.And how many entries you need to get one character maxed? Because there s only 10 mastery points each stage.Time is also a big factor. It s not a mode where you have a screen open and it autoplays whatever while you work or watching a movie, you have to choose stuff between fights, arrange masteries etc. It s a full 10-15 min per stage, and you need to do this 3 times/day for almost a month.Once you have one character almost maxed you don't have to select anything between fights because there are multiple masteries that mitigate damage and increase damage to a point those boosts between fights or whatever don't really matter. It's like autoplaying EQ but easier, definitely boring and repetitive but you won't be doing it every single day three times a day for a whole month, just until you max one character.
Rewards are just "ok" for the time. And we re not talking about those who re willing to spend instead of waiting.

Silent cost increase
So I'm pretty sure the sixth bundle in the traders Outpost used to cost 500 instead of the current 600 Mysterium. You might think it got buffed however I'm pretty certain that it stayed the same but with an increased price tag.
In the end it's just 1k Mysterium in total but this could be a concerning trend, that kabam just increases the cost of different items without telling or adjusting the amount we get for the currencies.
Perhaps we should keep an eye out for that

It's not a gift if it's basically a psychologically manipulative advertisement embedded into your stash to remind you everyday that you'll never be able to use those "free" shards unless you pay for the remaining necessary shards.How so? Each possible item in this gift should've been something theoretically usable without having to pay money.

Per game mail, even the key has more value than the useless shards. I could have sat on the key and it would have converted to 1500 useful 7 star shards.
