They really need to hire more people for game design, either the team is just bad or overworked, this event is unbelievable. I just spent 30 minutes on Lady Deathstrike with Red Skull.
You don't have to be very smart to know that the combination of nodes with her abilities makes the fight terrible.
They also completely restrict the pool. Most of the options are terrible, the node should at least scale with debuff damage, to make Vox and Red Skull minimally viable.

I think I'm done
First things first. My account is big enough, and I have most of the ideal options ranked so it's not about that.
The design behind this wheel of fate event is not only baffling, it's insulting.
Putting aside the horrible miscommunication on the selector (guys dont forget to buy another meta champion locked behind a paywall for an indeterminate amount of time in a couple weeks!)
What the hell are these nodes, fights, rewards, and expectations on players? This is genuinely ass. Nothing in this game has turned me off more than the presentation of this.
This isn't everest content, it's bad content. I genuinely feel bad to classify this in the same category as epoch, ordeal, and necropolis. How do we go from banger after banger to this?
This should not be the kind of content kabam is leaning toward. I dont think it's enjoyable in literally any aspect. Its gross. If you want to challenge our rosters do it in a different way because this isn't it.
I feel very deflated and honestly dont even want to do anything regarding this game right now.
I hope kabam can course correct hard and fast because this seriously is not it. Im not going to say theyre going to kill the game, but I think theyre slowly killing players enjoyment of the game and tainting the overall sentiment people have about it. The game will persist but the most dedicated, and the most passionate players will eventually leave which is something I think is worse.
We play games to have fun. Things can be hard and fun at the same time. This is neither. Its not particularly hard and its not fun at all. It's just bad.
Combine this with the aggressive overmonetization they've been doing this entire year... its such a turnoff. Why even bother at this point. I like marvel and I like games but I dont like whatever this is becoming so I think im done genuinely caring about anything with this game for now. Ill probably still play but definitely not to the extent I was before. I hope things turn around and better decisions are made.

This is not really old, just 5 days, stoll very relevant.It should give more rewards especially said it's tougher than epoch. The awakening gem should be generic I think that fix most stuffNot to bring up an old thread but the effort this quest takes after finally seeing it now makes reaffirms the idea that these rewards are pretty lackluster for the effort it takes. I agree that we needed some sig stones and a generic gem to actually make the quest worthwhile. At least Necro had a titan, r3, and mastery point when it came out so there was actually a reason to take on the challenge
And yeah, definitely more sig stones, atleast 100 generics or 200 crystals
I completely agree and to add, necro is actually fun. This quest is the antonym of fun.

Oh, and not letting to use 6* is bs. Same for paywalled champs. Even for the first fight they have that free lady from paywalled sequence of characters they gave out for new year. She did ok for me at r1, r6 5* would do even better. Some people will have 7* not ranked or not duped or will only have 6* but not 7* due to luck or paywall or whatever. Yet kabam will not let you use your best option just because

However, we just assumed it was going to be all 12 defenders.Nah I just rewatched it “The selector gives you a 7* of one of the 12 defenders in the quest.” Would they say that and then have only 10 champions in the crystal? Perhaps but that’s dumb and not how most would interpret what we were told. You’re still getting 1 of the 12 defenders. Classic Kabam

Folks, stop arguing with each other and keep the discussion focused on the content, please.I agree with the arguing but having 30 minute fights isn't skill not even necropolis fights are this long it's ridiculous and seriously unfun I don't wanna sit down literally all day on a single fight.

It does, I have counters for everyone thankfully only problematic fight for me will be that Bullseye cause I don't have Sinister so I have to use Warlock instead. The problem for me is that these fights have one or two decent options at best and that's it, Epoch while restrictive had more than two options for every fight. It's too restrictive imo, I will be able to do it with minimal investment but I can see why some people would be frustrated.The defender thing was a major fumble agreed, they said one of 12. I’m not sure how restrictive the future quests will be yet but for now, quest 1 looked manageable honestlyIf the rewards are so bad why do you care about not being able to do itI think the issue some people including myself have is the content looks very hard and restrictive, and the rewards aren't really all that we can't even pick any defender from the selector like they claimed on the livestream. I mean look at that Serpent fight for example no Leader or Wiccan you're cooked, look at Bullseye no Sinister or Warlock you're cooked.
