I won that round against a R3 destroyer using r5 Awakened torch. He's the only 6 star I draft above my r2 and r3s sometimes (I don't have a good deck..yet) and he's never lost a round unless it was an enchantress with intercept 😅.

Why this post.....well he's coming as a 7 star and it looks like FTP (low spenders) won't have access to him, it was fine till dark phoenix, hof giving nick and fam ( have fam) but if such events keep happening regularly with insane champs being behind a pay wall how are we supposed to enjoy playing the characters we love. Luckily I had enough units for one 7 star and got fam weird enough I wanted him and not nick fury but I always imagine if I would have pulled ibom, apoc or tigra or even nick (not saying they are not good but I loved fam). Seeing the characters we played when 5 stars were relevant and seeing them getting released behind paywalls...it hurts, dark phoenix and other champs during events like hof is still bearable thinking it was bad luck or we choose to spend units for other things but if this keeps happening every quarter then it doesn't make sense. He's that good as a 6 star and now a 7 star 🤯 I ended in Uru 5 so I don't think I will face many whale accounts but not being able to have him it will be bad.

I know how a company (kabam) works why they need to do it I agree with them wanting to profit on it but the og champs which we used to play with as a 5 star or 6 star they could try and keep them attainable in normal way I hope..
