Re: 2nd Valiant Gauntlet
Mutant is funny because that's the class with healers and you get free healing in every fight with the bleeds.Lots of ways to heal, used 5 and 6* G99s on tech one to make up for some mistakes. 5 and 6* BWCV is great for the mystic one too.
Also Nick Fury (5*) still OP to get a full heal
Re: Too much Gold and iso
There is no such thing as too much gold in this game. Up until recently, Gold has been difficult to get and save by a lot of players, and they expressed their concerns about it. Thanks to the changes that Kabam has made to make acquiring gold easier, a lot players are no longer starving for it. You should appreciate the amount of gold that you have.
Re: Too much Gold and iso
I would much rather have too much iso and gold than too little. There will always be new champs to upgrade
Re: Chaos in the forum due to Bans [Discussion]
That's the thing that makes this look like it's bugged. Same account owner, same device, but some accounts get banned and others don't. You're not the only one who's said thisMy guess is that the scale of the modding problem is much worse than we would have guessed. Yeah, 10K accounts seems like a big number but it might just mean that cheating is even worse than the recent BGs season would make it seem.Well I am a UK player with many accounts 1 valiant the rest TB, one of my TB accounts is suspended for 7 days due to this error on kabams part. I can 100% confirm all my accounts were downloaded in the play store.
One commonality to all the posts from banned bros — “I don’t use any third party stuff” but they never say a word about where they downloaded the game in the first place. And that’s the real issue that Kabam is chasing, right?
Re: Thoughts about Champions for 2025
Ah I see what your saying, yeah that could definitely be the case. I guess eidols are pretty flexible in terms of lore and abilities so it's hard to say for sure right now so you could be right. My bad, I didn't express myself that way. I meant that it could be like Eidol brockens someone's dreams (maybe even a whole bunch of mutants). I mean, after Bastion's message, mutants are seen as a threat and they need to fix that. Maybe the new Eidol will cause some trouble in Krakoa, but I don't fully understand his purpose. Also, plot-wise, I think Maker will come from another reality in July (Ghost saved herself and the other Thunderbolts by sending the Nano-ISO-Charges to another reality, so it seems logical to me that someone would follow them and will end up in Battlerealm)I'm not entirely sure that broken dreams means someone dangerous, that's like 2 different concepts. Honestly I would argue that Mystique makes sense for the title given that her dream of getting destiny back being broken led to her causing the eventual downfall of krakoa and breaking xaviers dream.EQ tittle most likely refers to Eidol. It literally means someone dangerous – "broken dreams"August mutant is propably forge to fit science technology theme with maker, high evolutionary and solvarchIt's possible, though not sure it really fits the eq title
Broken could very easily apply to the eidol given that his essence is called shattered essence, but the dreams specifically feels odd in that comparison unless they're going incredibly obvious and giving us a dream based mutant, but I highly doubt they're going to be adding wildside or cosmar anytime soon haha
But perhaps the plot of August will follow on from where April ended, as the Summoner and other heroes need to decipher those ancient iso-slabs
I'm admittedly not super great at keeping up with in game eq lore hehe
Re: Possible Bug in AW
I have the same problem on the buff safety node. I can’t gain force charges.

Some clarification on the recent ban wave
Hi everyone. Obviously there is a lot of consternation and confusion right now over the recent bans. I just wanted to clarify a few things.
As the official post says, playing on a client distributed by anybody other than us or our official partners could get you flagged for a ban. Yes, this means if you sideloaded the game you were likely flagged. Our official partners are Apple, Google, Flexion and Steam. We distribute the game on PC through the downloader at https://playcontestofchampions.com/ Those are the only official channels to get the game, if you used any other means you were likely flagged.
We tested this algorithm against hundreds of known good accounts without any false positives. Having said that, in any action this big, there might be edge cases that couldn't be accounted for in advance. We are obviously taking these reports seriously and investigating these cases.

Re: Did you get banned and why?
To anyone who’s been banned: what’s your recourse? Are you trying to work through Kabam Support? Were you given specific reasons or just general ToS violation?
Curious to see how this gets worked out if there are folks who legitimately didn’t do obvious ToS violations.

Re: Just want to point something out
If you Read (insert horror movie jumpscare sound effect here), the announcement by the MCOC team. They said 10000 players were banned. Great, we love to see it.You don't ban for a week for potential wrongdoing. That's silly. They jumped the gun and penalized a huge number of their player base without adequate explanation and without potentially even an infraction against the TOS. They are obligated to uphold their end the same as we are ours.
Now let's go a little further in the message. I know it's scary because it's more words, but bear with me. They said, "Another couple thousand accounts have received warnings for potential infractions," which, as I'm sure the astute among you could surmise, is the 7-day bans we are seeing so many people complaining about.
Okay, so what does that mean? They identified something that was a potential infraction related to x person's account and issued a 7-day ban as the warning. Are they right? Are they wrong? Doesn't really matter as they straight up said in the announcement that these were for potential infractions and not anything fully concrete. I wouldn't expect any type of compensation or apology from them.

Re: Just want to point something out
Wild speculation #1: this detection technique wasn't developed in-house and was adopted with a Look The Results Line Up With Your Results It Works Hooray mindset. Their move to pc and steam would put them in touch with security options they hadn't used previously.
Wild speculation #2: Lowering the ban tolerance standards for automated ban actions sure cuts down on person-hours, salaried or otherwise, reviewing game logs and making subjective calls.
Wild speculation #3: this detection technique uncovered something other than what Kabam intended, and if the 7 day bans get their accounts back unchanged and nothing happens when they continue doing what they were doing before, do they dare announce "our bad, here's some titan shards?"
Interesting times, these are.
