Re: Ban Sympathy
aside from them spamming the boards, i do feel bad for them. many of them have probably played the game with modified software (without an actual ingame advantage) for 10 years and this was a surprise to them. i'm on board with kabam's policy, but understand player anger too. this really sucks for these guys.Actual cheaters, those guys can burn. I don't really have that much sympathy for them. People who broke the rules and used unauthorized game clients without fully appreciating that and didn't otherwise cheat? I do have sympathy for them. But the fact of the matter is whether they know it or not, realize it or not, they are facilitating cheating by trying to normalize an environment that makes it extremely difficult if not impossible to detect and ban cheaters. Right now we ban cheaters for doing stupid stuff. Stuff basically impossible for humans to do. But the cheaters are learning. Slowly, but they are. Many have figured out that if they do the impossible they will get caught. So they are starting to do the really difficult but not impossible. It is much harder to figure out if someone is cheating their way to becoming MSD than it is to figure out that someone is cheating their way to breaking the laws of physics.
So long as players run in emulated environments, run unauthorized clients, or even download the clients from unauthorized sources, it will be impossible to find "subtle" cheating, because Kabam cannot trust any data from any of those situations. All of them can be altered by sufficiently savvy cheating. And that doesn't mean every cheater has to grow a brain. It just means one of them has to, and then show everyone else how.
These things must go away. And if someone is relying upon them to play the game but is otherwise playing cleanly, that's unfortunate. I don't wish such players harm. But they simply can't be allowed to do that. And Kabam has been warning players constantly for years not to do this. It isn't like this comes out of nowhere. People just got complacent and thought Kabam would never actually enforce the rules, or never bothered to pay attention to the rules and the warnings. Which by the way means any additional warning would have been completely worthless.

Re: ban discussion for intermediate users
I'm pretty sure it says in the ToS that you can't. I believe it's section 5.2, but I don't know it off the top of my head.Modified application means that any other content has been loaded into its content with 3rd party software and affected the game. There is no content change in armeabi v7a apk versions, they are not modified. If you have a problem with lagging and freezing on an old device like mine, you can find and install 32 bit armeabi v7a versions from pages like apkmirror. This is actually the issue you do not want to understand. Installing any application as ARMV7a ARM64 does not mean that it has been modified or affected. If you do not use the google play store, using an unaffected apk does not violate Kabam's user agreement. If it did, there would be no need for this discussion and I would accept my guilt
My favorite part of the ToS is 4.2 though, which is what happened here today.

And my friend, I have been downloading and installing mcoc as armeabi v7a from apkmiror for more than 5 years. This is not a situation that started today.

Re: ALLIANCE WAR SEASON 58 ANNOUNCEMENT
Feedback for Kabam: Don’t Fix What Isn’t Broken – Focus on What Matters in Alliance War (AW)
Kabam, many players still enjoy Alliance War. It's interactive, strategic, and fun — so the core format doesn't need to change. The real issue is not the gameplay, but the lack of meaningful rewards and the high cost to participate.
Here’s what you should focus on to truly improve AW and keep players engaged:
1.Lower the loyalty cost for AW potions and boosts
The current pricing is too high, especially for alliances running multiple wars weekly. Many players burn through loyalty too quickly just to stay competitive.
2.Run more promotions or events for AW potions and boosts
Reward players with more opportunities to earn these resources — through login rewards, solo objectives, or alliance milestones.
3.Improve AW rewards to match effort and competitiveness
Compared to Battlegrounds and other modes, AW rewards feel underwhelming. Increase the value of season rewards to make the effort feel worthwhile.
4.Increase the number of energy paths or remove energy cost for AW movement
Right now, some players delay moving just to save energy refills and wait for others to go first. This slows down progress and often causes unnecessary arguments. By either increasing path options or removing energy cost, players can coordinate more freely and enjoy a smoother experience.
5.Give meaningful and substantial rewards to MVPs
Currently, the MVP title has no real value. Kabam should offer significantly better rewards to MVPs — enough resources to encourage players to strive for top performance, in both attack and defense. Right now, everyone gets the same rewards regardless of contribution, leading many to do the bare minimum. Proper MVP rewards would encourage initiative, leadership, and teamwork.

Re: For Those Banned (New Phone?)
Nope I got a new phone one a week ago wasn’t bannedThey are asking if (when you got a new phone) did you use the Android/Apple method (or Transfer App Wizard style) for automatically having your selected Apps (and Pics, Data, etc) transferred from your old device to your new one.
That probably preserves all the App Data on your device (copies it onto new device), and may contain info that was specific to your old device, which they could maybe tell somehow didn’t match what the game's saved data would be on your new device.
(don't know if that is what is catching some people, but that is what OP is asking people about)
As opposed to just getting a new device, and starting from scratch, manually going to App Store to fetch all the Apps you had on your old device. And having to set them all up again.
Re: To take a break from complaining about the bans …
A friend of mine went to a resort in Cuba. He made a friend down there and tipped him $200, and the man was over the moon. He said it was almost rent for a year. In any event, he was told they have a work lottery. If your number is called, you work that day. Sometimes it just pays to be grateful. If they make triple all the time it would be the same thing cause everything you buy and consume would be increased close to 3x in price. Welcome to inflation.Less people would hate their job if they made triple time every day.I think its the equivalent of hating a job and then complaining cause you don't get to go to work on a holiday 🤣Nah not really, I wanna complain about people saying the Traders Outpost store and mysterium being so crappy and now complaining about no SQ to get mysterium thoughLol! I mean....it is scarcely motivating. No shade. A couple of Cats and 1k Shards every week isn't what I'd call incentive. At least they're easy.
Re: Some clarification on the recent ban wave
I am way more familiar with the situation with iOS than Android so I don't know all of the politics involved here, but one problem I am aware of is the fact that you would have to instruct players to enable installation from unknown sources if you do not distribute via the Google Play store (and thus have signed APKs from them). There is a substantial liability issue that would potentially accrue to Kabam if they were to officially recommend that option or state that it was an officially supported way to play the game, and from past experience I believe it is safe to say Kabam's legal department is very risk averse. Even if the developers wanted to support that as an option, I'm skeptical corporate would allow them to do it.I agree here. What should have happened was:Nah. This is on kabam in regards to not providing a demographic an official alternative. They literally explained it. Since they have new methods of detection, they've been able to detect more.So you agree Kabam can't afford to do this, if Kabam can't do it (liI'm not telling Kabam to do anything. What I'm saying is, from a logistic standpoint, anyone who doesn't use the approved methods of installation and game play is violating ToS and is subject to action. Legally, that's just how it is.So you are saying Kabam should ban all Android players in China? I don't think Kabam want to do that IMOChinese players don't have access to Google Play at all, why 90% of them can still play on Android but 10% got banned? They have access to Apple, which is allowed to the best of my knowledge.
If this is illegitimate, why Kabam even allow Chinese players to login from Android device?
The system is simply faulty.I care about the game, and I sympathize with the people affected. What I won't do is abandon logic. You want logic? Everyone knows that more cheaters showed up after PC version was release, then Kabam decided to ban Android players, tell me where is the logic.
Also, Kabam didn't decide to ban Android Players. China decided to ban Google Play, 15 years ago. Any other methods aren't supported, likely for a number of reasons. The first and most obvious is the game isn't designed to be optimized through those ways. Secondly, they've had a long-standing partnership with Google.
If Chinese Players have an issue with Android being prohibited, they need to take it up with their local government. Not Kabam.
I fully understand the logic of not allowing unofficial mcoc APK installs. So, why not allow for the APK to be downloaded directly from MCOC's website the same way the launcher for PC is available despite the obvious plans to also release through steam? Provide the Chinese community or any other community that has no say whatsoever in the restrictions their governments impose upon them in regards to access to the play store or other official channels and just offer it directly... Preferably before unilaterally deciding that these people are cheating.
1. A blanket message sent in game to warn people that this was coming.
2. A legitimate APK to download
I think this can’t happen because Kabam probably isn’t verifying the checksum of the game on startup. If they aren’t it’s completely unacceptable.
As to the blanket message, they've sent such messages repeatedly in in-game mail warning people not to use unauthorized software and to only download the game from authorized sources. The problem is not that the messages were ambiguous, it is that most people were not reading them at all. Every time I say this, people claim to have never even received such messages ever.

Re: Some clarification on the recent ban wave
They have been silent on this one for 3 days already,i don't think they will do anything about this anymore. If Kabam investigate any ban to be wrongful, Kabam should reverse the ban immediately and compensate those playersIn the past, when bans have turned out to be mistaken Kabam has reversed the ban. I have also heard of players getting compensation for such errors, although it is hard to say whether that always happens because it is an extremely rare occurrence. But anyone who thinks they were banned in error should still open a support ticket, because they do investigate those reports and you have nothing to lose.

Re: AQ Raid Nightmare: Sasquatch and Rintrah
If you preview the map it shows that Rintrah’s crit resistance was reduced and Sassy’s regen/damage resistance was also lowered. Nothing about Rintrah’s neutralize or either’s armor break interaction. This could be painful
