It is not exactly charity. It is more a case that at the moment content progression and roster progression aren't well aligned. Roster requirements for progression were added in the first place to prevent situations where players could race ahead in content progression far faster than their roster could keep up and create problems for balancing difficulty and rewards. We now have the opposite problem, where roster is racing forward faster than content progression. If Kabam leaves things as they are, players who reach progression tiers long past the point where their roster has raced ahead will get reward increases that will be less relatively rewarding, because they have in effect grown past those rewards. That's why they added roster "shortcuts" for some of the lower progression tiers, and while it is a bit of a surprise to see Paragon added now, my suspicion i this is related to the dynamic difficulty stuff coming soon. My guess is that stuff factors in both progression and roster strength (i.e. 30-prestige) and accounts with super strong rosters that just haven't gotten around to completing the content to get to Paragon will have suboptimal rewards from those systems.

Does it devalue the effort going into getting Paragon originally? Yeah, a bit, but Paragon is a very old title at this point, and that sort of thing is going to happen over time to everything. One day Valiant is going to be the old thing Kabam is going to make easy to get, because the rest of us will already be at Valiant+2.

Hobgoblin is B list, same as Morlun, to me. I'd say the A-list Spider-Man enemies are (in no particular order): Venom, Carnage, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Kraven, Vulture, Sandman, Mysterio and Lizard. Hobgoblin, Morlun, Hydroman, Chameleon, Chasm, Jackal, Scorpion, and Shocker are the B list. C list, IDK, Molten Man maybe? other Symbiotes, other Inheritors maybe, Spot. Boomerang, Kangaroo, are D-list.

Kingpin's also in a weird place as I think of him as an A-list Daredevil enemy, but he's also one of Spidey's top tier enemies.

I took out a r4 Onslaught with my r3 Cull in 28 seconds. Foresight did really help though.

I did this challenge with my R2 Wong and honestly, he’s the cheat code. You just don’t die with him – he cheeses through the fights with ease. Even a 6* Wong works fine, I even saw a run where someone cleared it with a 7* R1 Wong. That’s how OP he is for this. Sentry can work too, but he’s way harder to keep up with since he needs the ramp and proper setup. Unlike Wong, he isn’t as forgiving, so be ready with revive stacks. Best of luck!
