Re: What Class 7 Star Crystal to Get
You’ve got enough science options that you want that it’s far less likely you get disappointed.

You need to create an account. It’s a different system from your Kabam account.
REGARDING CHEATING IN MCOC
Greetings Summoners,
Let us make this crystal clear, any players caught modding in Marvel Contest of Champions, particularly in our competitive modes, will be subject to a permanent ban.
It’s no secret that cheating in our Competitive game modes has seen a recent uptick in activity, particularly since the addition of Radiance in Battlegrounds.
There is no place for this behavior in Marvel Contest of Champions, and if you are caught engaging in this behavior, your account will be subject to penalty.
Our cheat detection system has caught hundreds of players modding through Battlegrounds this Season, and our team has been working tirelessly, manually reviewing hundreds more cases that are too close for a machine to call. Accounts caught modding in our competitive game modes are subject to an immediate permanent ban, and their ELO will be set to zero and removed from the leaderboard.
While modding is the most egregious anti-competitive behaviour, it is not the only manipulative behavior that we’ll be taking seriously. Bad actors engaging in win trading or excessive match declining will also be subject to action on their accounts.
Additionally, let it be known that any player caught playing on an account that doesn’t belong to them will have that account’s, and their own, ELO ratings set to zero upon detection - and will be subject to a ban. If you think we won’t be able to tell, you are incorrect.
I hope we’ve made our stance on this issue clear. We will not allow the actions of others to negatively impact our loyal Summoners committed to playing fairly. Play by the rules, or play somewhere else.

Re: light essence and dark plumes
What about extra plumes? Can we do anything with those? You can trade them in for 7* shards sometime after the phoenix quest ends

Re: Oh great another power gain meta in bgs
How’s it interacting with Punk’s kit to make him so much tougher on defense? I’ve got an r2 Punk but never learned him.Not really sure because I only know how to use him on attack and never face him as a defender.
But he was a menace this last season too.
I assume it's just a combination of unfamiliarity with his kit with certain nodes that amplify it.
Like his SP2 can inflict ruptures through block, and as a defender he will always counter-stun you if you try to intercept him (whereas on offense there is a cooldown).
Also if you throw the same special against him twice the encore will inflict a rupture on you.
BG Modders
Hi Kabam,
I am not here to report any modders. I know it requires alot of investigate but in common what I observed is all modders are using pretty new accounts and dump in GC to make all genuine players loose their efforts.
I would like provide a suggestion that adding requirement limit to all players to enter into the most competative mode of this game. If Kabam can set a total account rating limit above 4m or 5m. It will showcase their efforts and also kabam gets time to review such accs before actioning.
Creating and having a 5m rating acc requires a vast amount of time then players also will realise the worth of Bg.
Any thoughts on this is appreciated @kabam.

Re: Progression levels are not an indication of skill level...
In the past, they were an indicator, but many people fell behind because act 6 was extremely difficult.
It turns out that almost half of the people got stuck there.
Even after two or three nerfs, today, act 6 is still the hardest, by a lot, when you compare the evolution curve.
Doing an act 6 with 6 star champions is harder than doing an act 8 with 6 star champions.
That changed and progression started to be linked through rankups, from that moment on it stopped being about skill indicator and started being just about progression.

Re: Progression levels are not an indication of skill level...
Progression level is used for the general difficulty for Content; Progression levels are not used for Competitive modes.
In terms of Content, I'm not sure what your point is. Valiant EQ was created for Valiant level rosters, regardless of skill level. That is why the design of it is "one champion, that you can use once the entire quest". It doesn't matter whether you are skilled or not. Every other difficult content aimed at Valiant players can be completed either through 100% skill or a mix of revives and units. And then the rewards are designed to feel rewarding to Valiant level rosters - rank up materials and champions that a Valiant player would want.
Sure, Kabam could design "Half-Valiant" content with "Half the Valiant rewards", but then Kabam would theoretically have to do that for every progression level (Half Uncollected difficulty with half the Uncollected rewards). There will always be players below the average roster (and skill level) of whatever demarcation you use.
In terms of Competitive modes, sure something like ELO could be implemented. But your overarching complaint about Progression levels intersecting with Skill and with Competitive modes, doesn't apply.
