Re: Are Kabam finished with MCOC?
Nah, they just test new things, and yes, they do adjust, step by step
Anyway, don't make it serious, just play as much as you can, you can't be Bero man in BG or MSD in knowing how to use every champs or Whales to buy everything
Re: Zola comp
Here is correct ( did not need ai to understand) AI calculation
Key Probabilities
- Correct pool (18 champions): Probability of any specific champion per pull = 1/18 ≈ 0.0556.Expected Arnim Zola in 10 pulls: 10 × (1/18) ≈ 0.556.Expected from the other 17 combined: 10 × (17/18) ≈ 9.444.
- Bugged pool (17 champions): Probability of any specific champion (non-Zola) per pull = 1/17 ≈ 0.0588. No Zola possible. Expected from the 17 combined: 10 × 1 = 10.Expected per non-Zola champion: 10 × (1/17) ≈ 0.588 (vs. 0.556 in correct pool—an excess of ~0.033 per champion).Total excess across 17 non-Zola champions: 17 × 0.033 ≈ 0.556.
Net Impact of the Bug
- You received an expected 10 champions total (same as correct pool).
- But: +0.556 excess from non-Zola champions, balanced exactly by -0.556 shortfall on Zola.
- Since you kept what you got, this skew benefits you slightly on the non-Zola side (higher odds for those you pulled). No net loss in total expected value.
Compensation Effect
- If you select the guaranteed 7★ Zola: Adds +1 Zola. This overcompensates the 0.556 shortfall by ~0.444 (now net +0.444 on Zola, plus the prior 0.556 excess on others = ~1 total excess).
- If you select the extra Titan Crystal: Adds expected +1 champion from full 18 (including +0.056 Zola +0.944 from others). This provides a slight bonus overall but doesn't fully address the Zola skew as directly.
In either case, the expected value is now at or above what you'd have gotten from 10 correct crystals. No additional crystals are needed—the given compensation is sufficient (and arguably generous). If you value Zola highly (e.g., for its utility), select it directly.
Re: Adaptive Stupidity
That's me on the exact border.
Compare next image to what OP uploaded.
Thats how OPs rewards should look at 1 tier below. But that's not the case.
Like I said, rewards keeps increasing without hitting the higher tier.
The adaptive EQ is adapting to corresponding prestige within prestige thresholds.
Re: Best Necropolis Exploration Champ - 2025
You've got loads of champs that will help; but as you'll be aware, every path has different requirements. Debuffs, reverse control immunity, etc.
So, I don't think there's a single champ who will answer this. Wong is clutch for the ten-year challenge, though.
Is recommend you try to complete a few Carina's challenges as you explore, if you haven't already.
Mutants - With Onslaught and Jean Grey (for reverse control immunity), you could probably clear a full path, especially if you have a Mr Sinister to rank up. Dazzler can counter Evade (which is the Trap node you're dealing with on the first path); so I imagine she'd be very useful.
Cull's Worthy/Gods - You've got Juggernaut and Serpent, who can do a lot in Necropolis. With Juggs to manage GM's Phase 4, you can clear a full path with them. White Tiger might work, but bringing in an Absman would be incredibly helpful, even 6*-locked: he destroys Air Walker, and is great for Arkus, too. Odin or Angela would also be great, to handle Autoblock opponents like CapSam and Omega Sentinel - I actually used Odin for 8/14 fights when I did it, but that was before I had a 7* Serpent, who can probably kill most opponents that Odin can.
10-yr challenge: With Wong and Wiccan, you can pay much choose your path - so choose a path that you aren't using for Worthy/Gods or Mutants.
Dimensional Beings - there aren't any who are immune to reverse controls, so it's a tricky one to extend to a full path. That Fantman will be great for Silver Centurion, though.
Re: Best Necropolis Exploration Champ - 2025
Even 6* Kate Bishop will do better than most 7* rank 4 champions out there for necropolis
Re: Best Necropolis Exploration Champ - 2025
It depends a little on how you want to approach the content. As others have said, it might be a good idea to look into completing a Carina's while you're still at it. I am not entirely sure how viable all of those teams are for the second part of the quest since most challenges are just to do the first half, but I found all of them really well thought out for the first half.
I think Chee and Adam Warlock are both part of the "Wong team" that has a full run challenge. If you have Wong, he's worth ranking up for Necropolis. If you don't, or if you're like me and have him ranked up but don't know how to use him, then Chee and Adam are real MVPs as well. Those two carried me through that run when my Wong skills failed me.
That being said, if you just want a nuke, then Aegon's your guy. I have a hard time coming up with any other champion, even as a 7r4, that would nuke fights faster than a fully-ramped Aegon. He just crushes it. You need a synergy team, and you need someone who can deal with reverse controls during the last phase of the Grandmaster fight, but he's nonetheless phenomenal.
But you will chug revives like there's no tomorrow.
Re: Best Necropolis Exploration Champ - 2025
Have you done any of the necropolis Carina’s challenges? If not, I’d definitely do the full run of that as one path and potentially do a full path with the mutant team. I recently did most necro exploration paths, and onslaught puts in so much work on pretty much every path you can take. Juggernaut is also helpful for grandmaster’s reverse controls and some fights on the right side. I’d definitely watch some videos explaining the paths and then figure out where onslaught will work.
Re: Is this it for new eq going forward???
If you call yourself a "casual player" with 3xR4 7* champions, and find it very difficult to explore the Elder difficulty, then I really don't know what you expect from this content.... I also have 3x 7* rank 4 champions and the healthpools, for my prestige, dropped from 900k-1 million to 600-700k. Attack rating dropped from 19-23k to 14-17k.
You can actually clear it with 6* rank 4 ascended. I've done the mutant path with 6* rank 4 ascended, 7* rank 1 mutants and a 7* rank 2 Colossus.
One thing I agree is that we should not have to go through the normal difficulty, but Kabam Mike said that they consider removing it and give us access to Elder difficulty without going through the normal one.
Re: Word of the Day: Blaze
@KabamPinwheel going to try this again because tagging seems to have been a casualty of the forums changes.
How does this even happen (the instance in game, not the instance with Support)?
