Any communication on the boss node change from stun immunity to rotating immunity?
Re: Let all the top players play
So you bumped up a post from 2 weeks ago that no one commented on,, to point out that no one had commented on it. Now people are commenting on it….what was the plan here?
Re: the GAP between free2play vs mid-spenders vs Whales
I am an FTP player and I personally don’t give a **** if whale have more oppopportunities then me . In fact I think it should further , let them buy anything they want AS LONG AS THE REST OF THE GAME IS NORMAL
Seriously stop trying to squeeze every possible cent out of us . Stop ruining content like the EQ,war and so on .
Re: I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS
You bring up some good points and just to piggyback on them, I do think there is a fundamental incoherence in the radiance chase as it's currently set up.
Sure, some modest players like Nick136 are fighting for their life out there in Celestial (the life of their account I should say) and the radiance rewards are basically necessary for them to progress in any meaningful way.
But like most people who play near the top of BGs spend a lot of money, thousands of dollars. If you convert that cash loosely into radiance, it's probably tens of millions of radiance in purchased resources.
And what are they chasing? The top C1 spot is like 500k radiance, which is a big amount for FTPs and modest spenders, but for the big BG players/spenders, it's basically a horrible/laughable return on their investment.
So clearly they are not chasing the radiance per se. They are chasing what that top prize represents: victory, ego, pride, identity, "fame" (as absurd as that sounds in the context of a mobile game).
And none of those things are actually illogical, but then you have the elephant in the room.
Basically, it's like hey, if you care so much about competition, and you're spending all this time and money to be the best, then how do you deal with the fact that you are paying for huge advantages over 99.9% of the playerbase?
And this is where the ego comes in and shields the BG addict from identity crisis and says: "No, I won because of skill, the thousands of dollars I spend is just a necessary precondition for competing."
And Kabam knows all this and all of these psychological exploitations are built into the foundations of the game because at the end of the day, no executive at Kabam or Netmarble gives a flying f about who won the last season of BGs. All they care is that the biggest rats are competing and paying for the privilege of doing so.
Re: AW rewards are here! And incorrect...
Everything should be on its way now, lots of data pulls involved for this one
