I whale out, got Dark Phoenix/RG/HT and would go again if another comes up. I like having the rare champs, especially if they’re good enough for BGs so I can show them off. Happy spending a lot of money on that, personally.
I don’t really know why it’s so easy for me to have R4s cos of this though. Rank up materials seem to widen the gap the fastest so perhaps we got too many this year. I can see why F2P players would be disillusioned by this.

The purpose of including Magik in the store is to create a chase for players earning huge amounts of Radiance. Until we get more data I can't say how much it will cost (we still haven't had a non-borked Battlegrounds season). I'm confidence though that it will be a lot more than 250k, given players in top alliances earn way more than that every month. Won't be all at once though, players will gather pieces over time.

Others like me with crappy luck? Let me put it this way, i only just recently pulled a 6* Galan for the first time.A few differences with that though, namely the peasants could get that champ in crystals just a couple months later, not wait over a year and then still wait some more.It became too much when they straight up sold a champ for the first time in the webstore. It's only increasingly excessive and tone-deaf at this point.They were selling 5 and 6* straight up in game long before that though. Granted not for 500 bucks though.

I don't know if you have recorded this, but putting the striker against Warlock's block will cause degen. Meaning they count as non contact basic hits.

Are you a celestial player?Thank you for the kind words everyone! I think July 4th just helped me make the final push to quit the game. I’ve been open to critiquing Kabam but I’ve also eased up on them a lot the last few months and tried to see it from the devs side. I think the recent deals have made it especially clear that it’ll take a lot lot more grinding (or money) in the future and I think the game already takes up enough time as it isYou've made the right call, especially after you see the thread im going to drop this week, which will shed light on something shady and nefarious going on within the upper Celestial brackets.
I played this game all through high school and now through college and it’s just a lot atp and you kinda realize it’s just gonna be an infinite cycle of chasing champs. Even if Kabam does fix the issues they have now (which I honestly doubt, especially the AI) I think the game is too much of a drain anyway. I think there is good in the game (I’ve certainly defended these things lol) and I’d hope they figure out what to do to please the community after the reactions to the direction this year
As always I think the champ design team has been doing such a fantastic job with the champs this year and that’s probably the thing I’ll miss testing out the most. Once again, good luck to everyone and I’d say to go for the break/retirement if you’ve been considering it
