This is what I wrote to Today's Reply by Kabam, following my Reinstatement (along with 3 of my Teammates:

It's Long, but, I think... Worth It!

First... Kabam's response:

On June 6, 2025, as documented in the forum post Anti-cheating update for June 2025, our game team deployed new technology that allows us to identify players using a client that was not distributed by one of our legitimate partners or by Kabam. In doing so, we found and banned over 10,000 accounts that have been using modified or otherwise illegitimate versions of our client to play the game. Another couple of thousand accounts have received warnings for potential infractions.

We received a great deal of feedback from players who feel they were unjustly suspended by these actions. As documented in the forum post RECENT BANWAVE UPDATE, the team has been reevaluating the suspended accounts and has decided to reverse some of the suspensions. It is quite likely that some of the accounts that we have removed the suspension from were violating the Terms of Service, but we would rather make sure that those who are not do not get punished. While I do not have the specifics available at this time, we can confirm that players whose suspensions have been overturned will receive a compensation package at some point in the next week that is intended to cover any missed rewards in-game as well as additional rewards for the inconvenience.

The investigation into the accounts that were possibly not violating our Terms of Service is still ongoing and may take some time to complete. It is possible that more accounts may end up having the suspensions revoked in the future, though at this time we cannot determine that conclusively. Kabam Support will not be making those determinations on an individual account level via support ticket; they will be made by the Game Team and will be considered final.

At this time, there is no further information that Kabam Support can provide regarding your specific account’s suspension status. If there was another issue reported in your ticket that is not addressed by the details above, please create a new support ticket referencing that issue only, so it can be appropriately addressed by the correct team.

Watch your "Ratings" in Google Play (et'al), "Recommendations to Play", $$$-Sales & Customer Satisfaction Scores, Plummet in the Next 3 Weeks!

Folks... the Heavy-Handedness of Execution here... was only Eclipsed by the COLOSSAL Ineptitude Exhibited in Overall Dis-RESPECT!!!

Please Note the wise & liberal (small 'L'!) use of Capital Letters & Punctuation herein [courtesy a Childhood of Stan Lee "Word & Thought Balloons" wherein Capital Letters emphasized MEANING!] so who better than lil' 'ol Me, to wield "Lettering" to a "Receptive" and DESERVING set of Targets! {this means YOU "Fellow-True-Believer's"} and emphasizing Communication here is KEY!

A Failure to Communicate so Great... it can be Best Described as "Trumpian"! (Let that "Sink-In" here My Fellow Canadians!)... ...

And "Ignorant" of the Devastating Effects of "Casually "Blowing Up 10,000 Accounts"... with No Warning, Heads-up to Supposed Cheaters or Actual Necessary Vetting of Targets or in Testing /Execution of a New (and now obviously Flawed) Program!

On Targets That You Previously I-den-ti-fied (FFS!!!) as "Definitively Guilty" (no small feat, tbc!) and worthy of Outright HALTING ACCESS to THEIR Immediate-"Maslow's-Heirarchy-Level" Personalized Rewards "Hobby"..., & No-ACCESS to Time-Based Activity (often PAID-FOR!) by a "Customer Based Commercial Service Provider" in a Social, Financial, Commercial and Legal Contract... TRUTH?

This Matter & Relationship is Best described as a "Church of the MCOC"... Complete 'w Gurus (Game Designers), High Priests (YT-wizards like Seatin, et'al...), Big Donors (Whales w $$$), Priests (Alliance Leaders & Assassins) and Parishioners both Passionate and Casual... with Regular Newcomers of varying degrees of Monetary and Conversion to "Church-Contributions" to the Community as a Whole... & the inherent "Culture" embodied in this "World" of the MCOC!

It is June 2025 after all... so Our "Collective-Awareness" of what "Cults" are, has never been more Acute..., No?

So... YES! I am Diving Deep here to Inspire the "Better Angels" I HOPE are Deeply Entrenched at Kabam and MCOC... a Hope that was formerly a "Certainty" only months ago.

BUT... Recent Developments over this Past Calendar Year are troubling and unnecessary!

Total "Gimmick" Characters like Enchantress (an admittedly inevitable development of Champs for the Hardcore "Whales" but a nuisance to those "less-devoted" and least able to Actually Defeat all the Gimmicks without Deep Resource plunges), that "Satisfy" the Whales, Challenge the Devoted, Confound the Casual and Dazzle the Noobs...

A Troubling and decidedly Poorly executed Introduction that caused a Downturn in MCOC Rankings & Sales... more out of Frustration at OP-Gimmicks and the Pure Time Demands necessary to Learn wtf it takes to Beat the "Bullseye's & (now!) Yelena's" now endemic in MCOC.

The "Build a Better Mouse Trap" Modus Operandi reaches "Peak-Capacity for BS" among the Meek and Weak... but (imho) Poor Execution ultimately Nullifies the Game's other "Advancements" (like New Daily Events & Rewards Schedules)...

The Well-Moneyed Whales have their New Shiny Collectible "Toy"... and challenging Game Content... out the Wazoo! yay.

And so fulfills the Corporate Mandate to Drive Sales and inspire the Masses to Spend Hours of Devoted Immersion in the Game... and to Spend actual $$$ for a "Hobby"/Addiction (let's not mince words here... We are Adults after all!)/Tribal-Cultural-SemiTheistic-Obsession!

A Hearty "Bravo" & "Way to Go!" has resonated in Many Improvements of Late from You Kabamy Kids... (that MUST be Said!)

But then the Penultimate mistake before this "Mass-Ban-Fiasco"...

That being changing War Format without warning and so Ineptly as to Frustrate the "Fence-Sitting Casual Players" into Early Retirement!

And with Continuous Glitches (even now the New Defender Placements keeps Bugging out "Placed Defenders" into Random locations [this happened to me in the 3rd or 4th New Format Off-season War: Minutes before Matchmaking, I Max-Noded Defenders available {many were not "available" cuz [Again!] NO COMMUNICATION from Kabam} and when War Started, the Defenders I had relocated were NOT where I had Placed them! And NO, I didn't have the Time I'm devoting Now... to Report this Glitch to Kabam! That's an Hour-Long Time Demand unavailable in My Busy Life! So... consider this My Registry of a Noteworthy Bug to Your Complaints Dept! Capichè?)...

And Battlegrounds collapsing Mid-Fight (resulting in lost resources and frustration!)...

So when Y'all pull this Poorly Executed Cunning Stunt (Hrrrmmm!!!)... on a FRIDAY... (Seriously, consider Firing whoever thought Friday Evening was a Good Idea and not an Epic Fail in the Making!!!)... during War Season (What. The. Actual F.!!!??? ... for REAL???)...
... On the Cusp of a RAID Week (the Most Expensive AQ of all!!!)... aaaand...

... With Zero Warning (despite having a Pre-Identified actual f-ing List)... all prepped to send "The Guilty" to a Metaphorical GITMO ... or El Salvadoran Gulag. . . . (Deep Breath needed here...)

All without any semblance of Due Process, Managerial Critical Thinking or calculation of Possible Collateral Damage to Long-Time Customers/Players Innocent of ANY "CRIMINAL" INTENT or Awareness that THEIR "PATH" to Playing a Game... was somehow in Violation of Terms Of Service !!! (admittedly, a "Wrote" & Boilerplate" TOS Contract protecting a Corporate & Commercial Entity from Scenarios... unironically...
Just. Like. This!)

HEY... KABAMY-KIDS... My Fellow Canadians (am I Wrong in making that 'Blanket' assumption, here? Does Kabam have a side Corporate HQ in some Off-Shore Tax Haven somewhere with a Dictator influencing Management & Maintenance of MCOC, perchance??)... ANY Single One of these Inept Failures Alone... would make me Question the "Critical Thinking Skills" of a Manager deciding to Execute even a Single of these "Choices"... and just result in me... SMDH!

But COLLECTIVELY... all at Once... amounts to Jaw-dropping Ineptitude best described as "Fire! Ready! Aim!"

Or the Throwing of a Grenade into a Vegetable Garden to get rid of Weeds!

You've obliterated a Season of War; screwed up Players "Just before Expiry" management of Financially expensive Stash-Resources; tainted a Week of AQ ( incl. Past & Current RAID week); Messed up a Season of Battlegrounds; Alienated 1000's of Loyal Customers; delayed or outright eliminated opportunities to Buy/Redeem Time-Sensitive Special Offers; Undermined Trust in Actually Trustworthy Leaders & Teammates; obliterated "Double-Track redemptions; and in MY Case eliminated My Chance to Redeem All Rewards in My Solo War Event (another off-Kilter Major Timed Event intended to coincide with The ACTUAL SEASON of WAR!) !!!!

ARRRRRRRRRGGHHHH!

Deep Breath... ... ... ...

Sigh... I didn't even mention the Obliteration of Trust; Lack of Timely response in Forums or Troubleshooting Replies; the Abusive Cruelty heaped on Victims seeking Answers in the Forum Community (Good Lord but the Abuse experienced there was Infuriating!!!); Altering the Foundational WAR FORMAT from needing 5 (FIVE!!!!!!!) Champs Built for Defense Usage wherein changing Rendering Valuable & Resources demanded to do so... A Waste of Time, Effort & Money; the Cultural Hypocrisy of Rewarding High-Performance Players despite the High likelihood of Cheating w' Modifiers...; and Evidentiary Proof of ... Overwhelming Incompetence, possibly right up thru to the Highest Levels of Management (aaand... I must say, almost bordering on Malicious Contempt for the simplest of Legal and Social Contracts... again, NOT KIDDING!...) This was carried out like a Dictator would... Complete with No Due Process, Preparation or Accountability!

Am I Wrong? Where? Be Specific! SPEAK UP here!

So... My Fellow Canuckle-Heads (Go Oilers Go!)... when I characterize Kabam's Actions and Execution as 'Trumpian', I do so, fully Cognizant of the Intended Insults' ramifications... and the inferred DEEP DOUBTS as to the Measurable Intelligence of those put in charge... of this Cultural-Paradigm-Altering Colossal Fut-Nuckery!

First: Never pull this **** on a Friday Evening unless You FULLY Staff the Kabam Complaints & Problem Resolution Departments over the ensuing Weekend

Second: COMMUNICATE CLEARLY DAMMIT!! Saying "3rd Party Providers" is meaningless if YOU Don't Explain the Different Levels of what a 3rd Party includes (like Google Play as structured in so many Country's not named "Canada") and THEN: GIVE EXAMPLES of Past "Violators" and WHY they deserved a Metaphorical 'GITMO'!!!

Third: Don't pull the 'Trigger' on Operations like this during War Season

Furthermore regarding Communication... If You Can "Identify and Target" 10,000 Potentially likely TOS Violators", THEN YOU CAN SEND THEM WRITTEN WARNINGS, detailed with Curative solutions and Punitive Actions for Failure to comply!

The M.O. is supposed to be "Ready, Aim, Fire!" And NOT the Fuster-Cluck that just Happened thus Past Weekend!

Smarten the Hell UP! YOU'RE ALL CANADIAN! Act like it!

Truth be Told, it'll probably be months before I return to Forums (I HOPE!)

This is a level of self-important masterbatory nonsense that actually makes me root for Kabam

I never blamed anyone without facts. I never blamed anyone at all, to be honest. I specifically said that I have no judgment because I don't have access to the data.
We were having a discussion about Chinese Players loading the game through other means besides Google Play, and I said if someone is playing the game through unofficial means, then the responsibility is theirs if something happens. They have a partnership with Apple, and one with Google. Those are the only approved means for mobile. So, no. I didn't make baseless accusations. I said whoever does it is taking their own risk.

Then Kabam should have banned all Chinese Android players, based on what you said, most of them did it wrong , why don't Kabam just do it? Oh, right, Kabam don't want to take their own risk to make such a bold move.

Chinese players or whoever got banned and unbanned will still take the risk and do what they did before, because they don't have other options and they don't know what they did wrongly, Kabam still have all the chances to ban all of them.

Again, why it is so hard for you to admit you are wrong and the big-beautiful system is faulty, does it hurt you feeling so bad?

Making threats about losing Chinese Players doesn't bother me at all. We're having a discussion about what's supported and what isn't. That's what I'm addressing.
