I haven't opened uncollected gold crystals since Crystal Cleanse. However, I have never seen any pattern to gold crystal openings, and in fact even if such a pattern somehow existed no player would likely ever see it, because consecutive gold crystal openings on the part of the player are not consecutive crystal openings to the server. Thousands of crystals are constantly being opened every minute. Lots of crystals have been opened in between any two consecutive crystal openings by an individual player. If there was some sort of pattern, you'd have to gather all the crystals that were opened during that period of time from all players opening crystals to see it.

Because of the way crystals work, there's no difference between opening in bulk and opening individually, because when you open in bulk the servers literally open those crystals individually anyway. Each crystal is rolled independently. That's why bulk openings generally take longer: the server is doing identical work to open ten crystals for you as it would if you opened them one at a time.

While I haven't opened UC gold crystals in a while, there's no reason to believe they are any less random than arena crystals, and I have opened a large number of those one at a time, and continue to do so. As far as I can tell, there's no obvious pattern to those crystals, or any other crystals I've tested.

As to the specific results, the 70k drop isn't an "anomaly" UC gold crystals can drop a number of different values, each with a different drop probability. The larger ones are rarer. That rarity makes it tricky to test gold crystals in small batches. If you don't open enough to smooth out those odds, you will get large random fluctuations in the results.

Well, the username checks out. Did you actually check the rewards? For the minimal work you do on the dailies, they are worth it.

The discord is full of power tripping mods. They say that you're allowed to critique the game as a whole (just not specific devs, which is obviously fair). And yet they ban people for calling the update a scam.

Granted, most discord mods are like that.

Dont have any info to share right now. I saw the pages, I merged a lot of threads, saw it all. We're taking feedback onboard and relaying it to the game team but seeing as the change just happened we've not got anything more to say on it just yet

As far as I can tell, you can no longer play the lower progression tier difficulties EQ, such as Paragon, Thronebreaker, etc. Those are all locked to Valiant players now. Valiant can only play Valiant difficulty, then unlock the Elder difficulty. It's this way for all tiers or progressions now. Paragon can only play Paragon then unlock the Paragon version of Elder, and so on. It sucks and I loathe it more than anything. I enjoy (sorry, enjoyED, past tense now) logging in every day to explore every single difficulty in EQ and try out different champs.

Also, the lack of units and rewards for being excluded from the lower tier difficulties. They have new rotating daily quests a few times every week that will give us those missing rewards like units and such. So that's the "good" news, but even that is still crummy. They literally just over complicated everything in the game, screwed with everyone's prestige, ramped up gameplay difficulty and ramped down rewards. They added unnecessary hoops to jump through just to continue getting the rewards we're used to earning every month. And they did all of this while disrespecting us, making us feel punished for having deep rosters and dictating what champions we MUST rank up in the future.

5. Terrible implementation. This is a blatant money grab. Overcomplicated, unnecessary, grind heavy and the rewards do not match the effort. I think this will actually be a major problem for Kabam if they do not do something about it as for most people the monthly EQ is what brings them back to the game. Working through classic has been an absolute slog and I am not going to bother with Elder which means I'll be putting the game down.
Listen to the community @Kabam Crashed. Every content creator (who generally has a stacked roster) is saying the same thing. Mayday Mayday Mayday

I don’t know if it’s true but it FEELS like the forums are no longer the place to get timely information and/or interaction with Kabam. I’m sure there are a lot of advantages to using discord from their perspective and if your goal is communication you prioritize using tools/methods that are the most effective or efficient. But if you are going to keep the forums going you need to attend to them. I’d be sad if they announced the forums were closing in favor of discord but it’d be better than feeling like my preferred communication channel is being ignored.
