Re: Goodbye MCoC
Chill. It seems like we have lots of drama to see in that upcoming weekend thread. And we also know celestial players aren't a bunch of loyal guys either. Let's see what he posts then we can decide if it is legit or not.So you are going to shed some light on something that you can't see for yourself? No, but if I'm not mistaken, it was one of OPs goals to be able to reachAre you a celestial player?Thank you for the kind words everyone! I think July 4th just helped me make the final push to quit the game. I’ve been open to critiquing Kabam but I’ve also eased up on them a lot the last few months and tried to see it from the devs side. I think the recent deals have made it especially clear that it’ll take a lot lot more grinding (or money) in the future and I think the game already takes up enough time as it isYou've made the right call, especially after you see the thread im going to drop this week, which will shed light on something shady and nefarious going on within the upper Celestial brackets.
I played this game all through high school and now through college and it’s just a lot atp and you kinda realize it’s just gonna be an infinite cycle of chasing champs. Even if Kabam does fix the issues they have now (which I honestly doubt, especially the AI) I think the game is too much of a drain anyway. I think there is good in the game (I’ve certainly defended these things lol) and I’d hope they figure out what to do to please the community after the reactions to the direction this year
As always I think the champ design team has been doing such a fantastic job with the champs this year and that’s probably the thing I’ll miss testing out the most. Once again, good luck to everyone and I’d say to go for the break/retirement if you’ve been considering it
Sounds ironic and interesting at the same time! Can't wait!!
NEED A LAWYER?
Have you been the victim of missed inputs?
Have you used an Advanced Power boost only to get 5% of the power that was promised?
Was your latest nightmare raid a literal nightmare of bugs?
Call 1-800-SUCK2BU cuz kabam ain’t gonna do anything to help ya out. That being said, you could at least join a better ally then you’ve ever been a part of before… helps to make it marginally bearable.
We are;
Plat 3, AQ map 8, nightmare raids, no bgs req’d but we were top 100 last season, and I think we are doing better this season. We are organized, straight forward, and want to keep a game/life balance.
Who you are:
Top tier communicator, 28k+ prestige, highly skilled not just a bought account, do your daily aq without issues or babysitting. Badass dude or hot chick preferred.

Re: Battleground match-making
Present a clear and sound argument on why lower accounts deserve equal (and ultimately easier) access to reach "as high as possible", while also defining what that means, and I will join your cause. Why would it be fair for lower accounts to reach the GC only facing lower accounts? Why would it be fair for higher accounts to have to only face each other to make it to the GC?
The problem is, you can't justify anything other than what we have with a rational argument. The argument stops and starts at "small accounts are having a hard time". The game mode already functions with the "as high as possible" access to rewards across the board. Every single account is able to go as high up the rewards as they possibly can. But the argument for easier access for low level rewards is using the wrong language. What you're asking for is not as high as possible, but as high as available. In reality, all players can reach what is as high as achievable for them. Every player can already go as high as they are able; that doesn't mean that they should be able to go as high as they want to get. If you can't get past diamond 3, then that's as high as possible for you to go and you've gotten all the rewards that you are able to achieve with your account and skill.
Once upon a time, matchmaking was exactly what lower level accounts propose on here every day. It was based primarily on overall account strength and deck strength as well. We had a season where UC accounts made it to the GC at will and Paragon accounts were left out or barely made it in. In a competitive game mode, is it fair that accounts were left out that could've beaten many of the accounts that got in? Is it fair that accounts with more time, effort (and yes, money) had to struggle while accounts barely progressed made it in with ease?
The argument is constantly for Kabam to give low level accounts whatever they want disguised as an argument to make the game more enjoyable or fun for them. At the end of the day, it's just entitlement and entitlement doesn't apply to a competitive game mode where everyone is in one pool going for the same prizes.
Offer a sound argument for why lower level accounts having an easy go is fair for all players and I will join the cause.

Re: For the Red Hulk Haters 😘
Agree on needing Recoil.. though not really that he needs R4.. based on his DPS and health retention in most war fights - (this one was an outlier as it was Brute Force plus def tac) he would still be totally fine punching up one level against R4 defenseRank 4 with boosts and still took so much damage. Nothing wrong with your skills, fight was good.. his damage is still lacking. Fight should not be prolonged so much. All the XL champs can heavy counter Zola, would say hulk would do better here. So yeah he sill needs a tuneupThe fight was under 2 mins.
30% of the damage is from tactic. He's not tactic.
Needs recoils: I don't run them anymore.
Needs r4. I ain't doing that either.
Needs boosting, who doesn't in t1 wars.
Good champ for recoil users.
Not fun to play from my pov.
Re: Goodbye MCoC
So well designed that rewards are bad, their distribution is bad, some fights don't have good counters and are just tedious, some are a bit too restrictive but this criticism can be ignored if the target audience succesfully engaged with the content. If this is still all "quite well designed" then I don't know what to tell you.I don't think any veteran player would quit over some event that is totally skippable, it's more likely cuz of something happening in her life rather than something happening in game.OP didn't have to say anything; it's obvious this is why they quit. What does it have to do with OP, who didn't mention anything negetive on thier retiring post.Any criticism kabam gets for wof and how they're locking champion releases are completely justified so I have no idea what you're trying to sayWhat kabams god awful champion gating strategy does to a loyal and good community memberShe did wof on first week. Drank a bit too much hater tears on the way.
No clue what kind of criticism are you trying to convey on a goodbye post.
I mean, why do you think Jon Jones retired from the UFC?
It was clearly because of Wheel of Fate and how Kabam is locking champion releases.
And are we still riding the "wheel of fate bad" train? Wheel of fate is quite well designed, obviously have flaws unlike epoch or necro, only issue is the lack of low tier rewards (mainly sigs exp low tier cats etc).
Also wish the best of luck to you Emilia on your future endeavors, I'm sure that you'll be better off. A sad day for the community but a wonderful one for you!
Re: Glykhan can wait, conversations on Heat Wave
It’s up to you. How important is it to get human torch and/or starky? We don’t know when there will be another chance to get these champs. Me personally, I would go all in, because you have enough units to get all the offers. But saving is almost never a bad choice.
Re: Need to R3 ASAP - Please suggest
Odin. He's good for alot of endgame content from epoch, to necropolis to GM gauntlet, even used him in WOF.I agree with all of this.
Oh yeah, and the culls/gods carinas challenge to.
Odin is brilliant; great damage and utility for himself, plus can confer buffs on his teammates.
He's useful in quests, BGs, War, Incursions, and endgame content like the Necropolis.
