@SummonerNR 100% valid I’m 38 and they are 11 & 12 my youngest boys. They are avid gamers and way more advanced than me. 12yr is also taking computer programming so not telling what he has on his gaming PC and other devices. (device kids 🥲). So if something popped up 3rd party software I wouldn’t be surprised.

My SFSL is r4a1, so I don't particularly doubt that he'll do well in there. None of the fights he's supposed to take require any particular utility (even if various pieces of utility make them easier), so he can basically just punch away to his heart's content. Compare that to the fights that Heimdall is supposed to take, where nearly all of them rely on one kind of utility or another of his. They're two very different kinds of ramp-up champs, but I enjoy both.

If you want to know how SFSL might fare in an Epoch fight, I've got you covered. It's been a while since I last fought Cassie and I had to switch from PC to my phone to record the fight (because my PC hates recording things properly), so I'm a bit rusty at the controls as well. But I think it went decently well. Full ramp and a KO in less than 3 minutes.

Ascension sucks for too many reasons to list. Their self-congratulatory “let’s reflect on what we’ve accomplished” part of the stream was embarrassing.

The only reason people are paying attention at all is because they’re giving out those JV empowered crystals left and right. That, and the fact that most new champs are meh and the Titan system is moronic. Together that’s manufacturing some artificial interest in a dumb system that —despite what they want us to believe — isn’t impactful enough to make a crappy champ turn into a decent one.

I agree that advanced bg players (based on last 3 seasons) should start higher in VT for both reasons

• smaller accounts/casual players less likely to face them
• And.. because advanced bg players don't enjoy VT.. it's the equivalent to classic EQ to enter Elder

If you have a clear favorite champ, you should just R5 them. Aside from that, it might be helpful to have an R5 if you plan to do the next two Carina’s that come out as they will be challenging.

What I ended up doing was picking a champ that was great on their own, but was also from a class that if I rolled another R5 it would be just fine. For me I went with Serpent, because I wouldn’t be upset to also R5 Deathless Thanos, Angela, D Phoenix, etc. etc. I also knew Serpent was going to be used in all three of the Carina Villain challenges.
