Re: Why can’t endgame content work like Crucible so we can still do other quests congruenrly?
the reason is so that you can’t farm revives if your stuck on a fight.
Re: Can someone ban the peiximacao guy?
The thing about this guy, I don't think he's playing the role of the fool or "jestermaxxing". I think these are his genuine thoughts.
Re: Why can’t endgame content work like Crucible so we can still do other quests congruenrly?
OP never mentioned anything about doing everything at once. If they let us chose to do 1 long form content and stay in it while doing other content, people may choose to do 1-2 fights per week and actually be able to enjoy content which they normally wouldn’t if it’s locking them out of other content.
Re: Why can’t endgame content work like Crucible so we can still do other quests congruenrly?
That’s what I said above, you can still complete the DSE and get your daily revive it’s just way more tedious.
But that’s not my point, my point is that whilst doing these huge pieces of endgame content that for most people require more than just one sitting (both from a mental standpoint and also from a time standpoint,) I’m locked out of doing my:
- Daily unit Quest
- Weekly Quest (if you can’t get the 4 tickets required to enter as a result)
- Solo raid
- Daily Gold quest
- Side quest/Event quest
- General testing and gameplay in other maps
I’m effectively locked out of the rest of the game just because I’m trying to complete endgame content and that just feels way too restrictive and doesn’t feel good.
This APOC gauntlet is probably going to take the average player 2-3+ days to complete if not longer PER RUN and we have to do two runs. That means the average player at a minimum will miss out on:
- 6x Daily quests of 15 units
- Potentially 2x 70 unit weekly quests
- 6x solo raid milestones and XP tokens
- 6x Daily gold quests
just because they want to do the endgame content. We already have a concept in game that allows for flexibility (Crucible,) so why is this not the case for all long form content?
Re: Can someone ban the peiximacao guy?
We all know that Kabam barely cares about it lol, otherwise they’d have done so years ago
Re: 5 Days Left: Anyone Still Grinding Back Issues?
I completed all to 100% years years ago. It was a total different Mcoc back then and I won’t lie - those are f
Re: Can someone ban the peiximacao guy?
The rules apply to him as well. Someone else's behavior doesn't justify us breaking the rules as well. There was a time all of it would have been taken down promptly.
Re: Can someone ban the peiximacao guy?
i really start to think this is intentional, there is no way he doesn't know how annoying he is.
Re: 7* Sentry from promo code
I saw this same live stream too and didn't think anything of it. Thanks for sharing!
Re: I got screwed by Thursday livestream and new twitch drops
Hey folks! So a couple things coming together here:
First, Thursday stream. We've occasionally done streams on days besides Friday when we can't do a Friday stream, most often Wednesday, but because Wednesday was April Fools and Friday is a Holiday in Canada we only really had one day that we could do the stream on.
As for the exclusive drops, this is the start of our new twitch drop plan that we've mentioned and teased in previous streams. Going forward we will have an exclusive set of drops just for those who watch us, on the Kabam channel, live. However we will also have week long drops that anyone can stream with starting right around the time our stream ends and running for a week. These are supe'd up versions of the overall drops we had before, so on a stream week its just more rewards overall no matter if you tune in or not, but especially if you do tune in.
For the rest of the month there will be week long drops and then we start the process again next month with our livestream. Those rewards will be slightly less juicy (but still more than the old rewards before now) as they are a standard month, but once we get back around to the start of a new saga in a couple months we get those juiced up rewards again. We want to make this as predictable and consistent as possible, know that how it works might be a bit of a surprise/confusing to start, but hopefully it will make sense as we go. For more info checkout the writeup Mike posted yesterday afternoon.
