Concept is fun but points are way too low

I was getting more units in previous years with fewer envelopes. I wish they hadn’t given us so many envelopes after they nerfed the crystal into the absolute ground.

Rewards / Invested Time: 1/10

Nodes: I don’t have any problem with the nodes. Actually, it’s quite fun when you become untouchable, so 10/10.

Simplicity: I liked that they removed the whole numbers system and made it only colors. However, now all 30 people in your alliance need to place in the top 50% to get points for the alliance event. Your solo effort means absolutely nothing if your alliance members don’t match it. They should have made it like they did for High Evolutionary—directly giving rewards to the top 210 players at the end of the event. My alliance doesn’t even play AQ without me pushing them, and we are quite a big and competitive alliance. That’s a bummer. So I'm giving a 3/10 for the simplicity. (3 points for making the mode itself simple)

F2P: I don’t think this is an F2P-friendly mode anymore because if you’re not lucky with your runs, the tokens you get won’t be enough to reach the top. With the energy system, you need to invest even more time. So there’s another well-deserved 1/10 for that.

Overall : 3.8/10 , which is quite, quite generous rating for the mode. I just liked the fight where I became untoucable with Tigra.

Kabam has started to give me the impression of anothEr compAny—taking good things, putting them behind a paywall, and ruining them in the end. Also, they expect people to play more and more, like they don’t have a life or something. I don’t like where things are going, and I hope they can turn things around before it’s too late.

I used mine to get stars to complete this thing faster.

Agreed—I tend to participate in the various versions of this thread that have popped up from time to time—more positive emotes would be great.

The jeering emotes are great if you’re an @$$wipe, but most people are just grinding their way through BGs and—like fellow gladiators—they appreciate the salute or tip of the hat from a fellow competitor.

Cap is my go-to at end of each match, sometimes with a sheepish Modok if I won one I shouldn’t have.

More like this would be great—Wakanda forever, Spidey webbing a heart, Cyke giving you a thumbs up, Prof X tapping his temple, Doc giving a prayerful bow. Anything like this would be welcome plus more emote slots in general.

But it was such a stacked year, Gentle is absolutely amazing so when a champion of his caliber isn't regularly in people's top five or even top ten, that's saying something.

The fact we still don't have Nick, Tigra, etc. in the basics tells you all you need to know

I don't mind it, take it or leave it but my energy is better spent grinding that Crossbones.

I can only get 2 sometimes 3 bars each run and currently on 33 points

Grind to the 6000 points . That's it

The event is completely skippable. Play to hopefully get the 1.68% chance at units if you want … yippee. I will do a bit, but this is event is just silly for the grind.

if your time is limited, grind arena for guaranteed units and battlechips.
