Re: The State of MCOC: A Comprehensive Look Into the Game In 2026
I don't see the game as a grind outside of specific content like alliance coliseum. I actually believe that this game has very little real content to grind outside of the regular AQ and War fights.
Once I do the EQ I'm done for the month. Side quests are the same thing but on a weekly basis. Act content is just wait 6 months for it to drop and explore it in 2 days. Even incursions I did not bother grinding because the crystal is not worth the time.
This leaves only alliance coliseum and arena. Coliseum is good, but I only ever grind podiums if I struggle to reach the 4 million points within 5 fights. Arena is completely optional and the only reason I ever grind it is if I am in a quest and run out of revives.
The daily events take so little time that I do not consider them "grindy". Like every other quest, these are also one and done.
I would like to see one mode where there is no cap to the rewards you can earn. The more time you invest, the better the rewards you get.
These days I just end up playing ROL for fun. There are days when the only reason I open the game is to test out my champs. Nothing else to grind once you have done all content
Re: Carina’s selector
Honestly i have every champ on the selector bar Spidey 2099 though should I get him like you know for collection or the Titan in case when Madelyne Pryor enters the next batch. I could really use an opinion here from any of you.
This is why everyone is disgusted by ascension

Battleground Grind and Kabam

From a player that has loved mcoc throughout it all, I would like to thank Kabam for making it even more difficult to reach victory track this season, the AI generated every whale with 28 out of 30 rank 4 champions every step of the way, matches crashed, the servers conveniently slowed down at the point of winning, the AI made sure my random battle deck had the least best champions, while giving the whales every counter I had in my random deck. chasing the victory track is an adventure to say the least being a low spender with a above average roster, no where near whale status. thanks again, please make it battlegrounds great again.
Re: War rating creep and tier 1?
Because every war tier contains some fixed percentage of the participating alliances (for T1 it is the top 0.15%) there's no actual cutoff to qualify, more or less there's a fixed number of T1 alliances (probably about 50 or so) that only changes if the number of alliances that participate in alliance war changes (which it doesn't too much from season to season). So to get into T1, you basically have to knock someone else out.
Ratings inflation happens because those alliances tend to win more often than lose when facing alliances in T2, so they all tend to have greater than 50/50 win/loss records. I'm not surprised the cutoff drifts upward by 30-40 points per season. Its drifting upward by a little less than one net win per season, which, while an oversimplification, is reasonable for alliances who almost certainly are averaging more than 50/50 collectively.
Re: Yet another video on how bad 7* ascension is
This was good comment. Also lagacys boycott was long :D he made was it part1-5 spending videos when he was gonna at boycott :D
Re: Carinas Challenge Question
They are being snarky because this has been asked almost daily for the last 3 weeks
Re: Yet another video on how bad 7* ascension is
And that’s what the sales with rank up materials and exclusive champs are for, this however did not need to be monetized especially when only 30% of the champs in the ascension pool are actually useful and aren’t straight up fodder.
Re: The State of MCOC: A Comprehensive Look Into the Game In 2026
I'm not a big fan of Bero, but you're straw-manning here. Kabam is implementing a Twitch drops change that would drive viewers away from streamers who are not in the CCP. You can't be surprised he "took it personally."
Players aren't leaving just because. There are real explanations that you're shoving to the side and ignoring.
