Biggest complaint from me is the inconsistency between this compensation and when Zola was missing from the titan pool. They never made everyone whole for the Zola bug and even gave people a week time frame to get in on the compensation but for this they’ll only gave a portion of the players a compensation. Just doesn’t seem fair to me.

Of course it means something. If it doesn’t mean anything, why don’t we get 15 7 star crystals every day in the daily event? Why are they rewards for completing content?

It’s just sheer gas lighting to pretend there is no impact. But that’s where we are at - and that’s probably why I am as disgusted as anything. We get a big group hug moment and write ups from summoners fest… and the second something goes sideways, we are right back to the old Kabam playbook

Ngl i didn't think about this, but in a worst case scenario if the rollback option isn't on the table, then this solution of extending the window would even the playing field @"Kabam (Osaurus) Rex"

There are a ton of summoners that are contemplating quitting after this. Some may have been at work or asleep, and waking up to this would have them frustrated

This is a very unfair and unbalanced solution, and leaves everyone who did not open Basic 7 stars in this window massively disadvantage especially with the current chase for prestige and sigs. The only viable solution is a rollback of all crystals opened and then replaced or give everyone in game the same amount of replacement crystals of the person who opened the most during the impacted period.

what’s wrong with rolling back? What if somebody got a duplicate on a champ that wasn’t awakened. That rollback completely undoes that

I tend to agree. The way they did it creates way to much advantage for people that opened early. They should 100% extend the window. People have a chance at the new champs but that is way less of an advantage over possibly 1000+ sig stones, gold, and iso.

I usually try not to get too deep into the weeds because for all I know, maybe only, what, 1 percent of the player base opened crystals before the hot fix went live. Maybe the damage isn’t as horrible as it could be

But as has been noted by others, there is SOME impact. Like if someone, IDK, pulled a Serpent on the front end and the dupes it in the 1-to-1. I mean, that’s SOMETHING

Seeing this and being reminded of this situation just makes me angrier. What was our compensation at that time? A single crystal and then it was opened up to all people to get that same free crystal compensation for opening the corrected crystal? They should extend this compensation window to all of us who weren’t able to open immediately and give us the same chance to basically double any crystals we open. They set the precedent before.

The fun is that they definitely just devalued most of the banquet rewards they had set up
