Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
I was talking to Edison, lol. I mentioned you to say I liked your explanation of BGs.
Also, might I remind you that we met in person at Summoner’s Fest. Don’t be chill in person and then insult my intelligence behind your screen because you didn’t bother reading and chose to stubbornly re-emphasize your points.
Additionally, I still don’t believe he’s objectively mid. Unique way to deal damage (and a good deal of it), unique and seemingly fun playstyle, sick animations, and great counter to Kindred (and others, countering Miss is always a good thing and I’m pretty sure his Indestructible will counter Power Sting too) makes him a great champ in my book - just not the best for BGs.
Expiring relic materials & lack of t2 celestial alloys.
Some t2 celestial would be nice.
The same goes with that deal they just had where people can buy t6 and t4 alpha for 10 units. Great but where are the class cats to match?
Re: How do you report a cheater?
U go on their profile and click report, this posting with name doesn't do anything especially when there is lack of proof on post such as this.
Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
Biggest flaw of the anti-battleground narrative is that a lot of the meta BG champions are the best for other content too.
We can pretend all we want that every champion shines in different modes, but the truth is many BG staples are just the best champions in the game, for everything. Just to list a few, think of Onslaught, Jean Grey, Nico Minoru, Kushala, Okoye, Hulkling, Photon, Future Ant Man, Crossbones... All meta staples in BG, all great for War, Colossium, raids (when allowed), events...
Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
i don’t agree with the “BG’s brain rot take”,..the mode is very useful in measuring a champions worth in both offensive and defensive utility that applies to many other areas of the game.
I play the game mode very casually,.,and not interested in the time consuming grind of going “all out”,..yet i still always consider Battlegrounds when ranking up champions,..honestly,..first and foremost
Re: Hearts desire discussion / paying for people we already have
Just get Claire and leave it alone
Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
While this post may sound nice, it’s just AI from someone who is playing a different game than I am. Now granted, I’m not saying you need to be valiant to have an opinion, etc. But we are simply not playing the same game. I want to maximize my rewards, and right now, that means trying to push in BGs. (Now I haven’t been able to due to work, but that’s another story).
And the fact of the matter is, the champs I rank up that are great for BGs are often great everywhere. I can use Jean in every game mode, Nico, Solvarch, etc. Champs like Blue Marvel, who I will probably still rank 4 because I like the character is probably not going to see much play.
Ultimately, “BGs brainrot” is not the player’s fault. We play the game mode with the most rewards (radiance), and right now, that’s BGs. Maybe that will change with Coliseum as we continue on, but rn, Kabam has made BGs where we get radiance, even if it’s infuriating at times
Re: Poll: How many revives did you use for glitch incursions week 2?
Zero. Suicides, Angela team, second chance, toxic siphon, then whatever.
Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
I didn’t go to Summoner’s Fest, but I do apologize for my reply I’d just woken up and saw the tag, automatically went “oh I’m being roasted how nice” lol ignore everything that was said.
