With the stellar forged champs being the chases right now, I don’t imagine they’ll bring back the deathless champs anytime soon. I feel the gatcha boxes are the best we’ll get. Same price (5k per piece) but you get some additional items with them.

One more concerning thing is what the value of the titan crystal will be, from what I read you'll only be able to ascend new champions if you get them in the featured valiant crystals but not in the titan (with lizard being the only exception), so why would I pay to get a titan to get new champs knowing that I won't be able to fully rank them up? Would be nice to know if new champions will eventually get added to the basic ascension pool with the other 30 champions or so and in that case after how much time it will happen.

Speaking from experience this is fairly easily done within a 12 month period. All it requires is steady, but not excessive, arena play and the willpower not to spend until banquet. I’ve got about 52k ready for banquet and about 45ish came from me. The rest was the platinum track and a couple of collector daily cards.
