to be able to choose who I want to rank up and those that are worth it. Not just so I have enough ranked champs to get through content that you could easily do with 1 ranked champ. I expected just a little creativity but that's just my opinion.

I guess but it will heavily depend on the strength of one's roster. l'm forced to use a few 7R1 champs here and there making the intercepts a must in those cases.

Its just to force people to spend on rank up materials. Kabam has become the void of creativity and completely thrown in the towel.

Deathless She-hulk worth this much?
Please note that I'd be glad to have her without the other deathless champs. I was asleep when Kabam had deathless pieces available for collection and kinda regret it now.
I have lost the will to save units for special events with how things have been lately and would rather just spend on the champs that I want as well as make those "fun" rank ups.

I never save honestly. Shards come either way. At least I get some of every pool that comes. I've never gotten the point. There's no beating the RNG, and there's no sense in playing if I'm never using the things I earn.
Hot take perhaps, but it's my view.

There are weekly items, monthly items, and never gonna reset items. They could not have communicated that more clearly.
