That's true, but gating first appearance, which is a purely cosmetic thing, behind cash, units, or difficult content chase mechanics is a reasonable compromise in my opinion between having genuinely difficult things to get and having the side effects of opting out of that chase have minimal impact on a player's future prospects in the game.

Some things just have to be hard to get. Some have to be expensive, some have to be time consuming, some have to be extremely difficult. The more Kabam chooses things that will have limited impacts on the players who opt out or cannot pursue the chase but are still desirable enough to induce those who can to chase them, the better it is for the game. We need to allow the game to have that breathing room to cater to that sort of thing when the compromise is reasonable, and I find the Blade BG piece to be reasonable in that context.

I feel like at this point we’ve waited over a month, we should probably expect something extra in the compensation since it has now held some players back from rankups due to the time we’ve waited.

Either that or hopefully a game wide massive “I’m sorry” package is coming like in September. Lots and lots of bugs/issues the last month or so, feel like it might be warranted.

I spent money on those crystals and you don’t care if the gem can be used or not as long as you are being paid ?
You could ;

- increase the inventory cap

-increase the timer before the gems expire to go after the next Titan

-offer to transform the gems in generic ones

-offer to transform the gems in rank up crystals

-offer to transform the gems back into the crystal they come from

-offer to exchange the gems in 2>3 gem on a 2:1 or 3:1 basis

Yeah, the Vox fight is tons of fun with Kushala. I did 256 bars with my R4 on the first try. Captain America, far from fun. Used all the big combo champs and couldn't break 50. Just so grindy in comparison to the other fights so far.

why is it harder to get into GC this month?

simple answer; there is a stellar forged piece attached to it so even players who don’t normally play bg are chasing it , that’s why

It's more like a power march than creep, after whatever the last spendathon was the acceleration of accounts has been massive. I struggled last season and stopped pushing, first gc missed in a looong time. Im 4 wins away from gc and will stubbornly get there because FOMO has me firmly in its grasp, I didnt miss a deathless champ and with 33k prestige there really isn't a reason to miss these, apart from skill issue which I has.

I had one quitout and my last fight was a timer hog who didnt bother and that's it. I used to go whole tiers without fighting a match.

Time for me to get good, or waste R4 on the horrible champs we all hate, or ignore bgs unless I really need to be there.

This BG meta was easily the worst of the lot that I can remember, and I recall thinking the power burn was sucky enough.

I've decided that despite it happening before and taking advantage of it, because I'm no good, I'd prefer chase pieces not in pvp content. I want to compete against kabams content, not the wallets, luck or even skill of other players.
